This watch from Boruse is a striking watch and makes an impression immediately with its design. This is a fashion watch and is designed and priced accordingly. This is an inexpensive timepiece with a Japanese quartz movement. There are areas where cost was reduced to bring the product price down; hollow band links, mineral glass which means reduced scratch resistantance, and limited water resistance. These are savings often found with a fashion watch and do not make this a poor choice. The reduction in costs allows for a much more substantial looking watch at a reasonable selling price. I would have appreciated solid band links which would have added weight to the watch, making it feel more substantial but I am happy with the looks and at the price you do not fear wearing it daily.

Heavy and Beautiful! Very nicely packaged so would make a great gift. Made of very heavy metals that feel like a high quality timepiece. Beautiful dial and crystal that is large and very easy to read. Chrono functions well. This is a large watch so it's not for smaller wrists. This particular piece seems to be of very good quality that will last. Comes with band sizing tool too. Beautiful watch BORUSE, you have earned 5 stars from me!

The media could not be loaded.  Keep your expectations low, since it’s only about a $30 watch on sale. Upon initial impressions, the overall aesthetic looks good for its very budget friendly price point.The watch is very lightweight and the only stainless steel is found in the links, which are hollow and stamped to shape. Clasp has come undone on me several times while trying to readjust position throughout the day and is quite loose. The entire bracelet is very squeaky while I had it on throughout the day with normal physical activity in a design studio. I’ve since ordered a 24mm wide silicone band to alleviate this minor annoyance.The watch case/body is actually bronze or brass, and I’ve already noticed scratches while removing the bracelet to see if I could fit a standard FKM rubber band without excess lug details. The brass color can be seen though the thin chrome plating in some areas inside the bracelet interface area.The chronograph actually does work! It can split time and ramp up, without the mecha quartz fly back return to zero. I was also able to adjust and recalibrate/ zero the middle chrono hand along with the hour indicator on the right. You can do this by fully extending the crown to hour adjustment function and hold the top/ bottom chrono pushers to adjust and rezero.Overall a nice looking inexpensive fun watch, but my example had the seconds hand exactly half a second off and never accurately lines up with the indexing markers! This is dropping the review down to a 3 star review. It was a solid 4 star “fun” watch factoring the low cost and overall build quality. I’ll keep wearing it amongst my many watches ranging from 38mm-50mm Garmin smartwatch, so large dial watches aren’t unfamiliar. I have a 7” wrist and I had to remove all the “removable” links to fit. There was about 2.5” of links removed, so this will likely fit a very large human with at least 8.5-9” wrist circumference. The crystal does appear to be mineral glass and not plastic, while the bezel appears to be aluminum. Squeaky bracelet, loose fitting clasp, and most importantly, the half second misalignment are earning this the 3 star spot.Update: I’ve since fitted a silicone strap from Alpine, which can be found on Amazon. So much improvement over the cheap squeaky hollow bracelet… but now the thin chrome plating shows through in some images where the bracelet used to come in contact.

Excellent quality, durable and very stylish. It does not come with the device to remove links to get a good fit. Fortunately, I had one.

This watch looks great and has a lot of weight to it. The only thing I hate is how hard it is to remove one of the clinks to shorten the band. I really don’t care for all of the other options this watch comes with, and it has a lot. All I need is to tell the time. Very attractive watch and look’s expensive.
