I give the watch 5 stars because there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I bought this as a gift for my son, but had to buy him a different style a week later because he found it hard to read the time on this one. The hands are so fine, and they blend in with the background, making them difficult to see. I don't fault the watch for that. My son and I both have old eyes; someone with better eyesight probably wouldn't have any problems. It's a great watch for a great price.

There was a burr on the front cover that prevented the front cover from opening, the back opened just fine. I filed the burr down with a Emory board and now it works. The watch keeps perfect time.

The case is light, the covers are a bit loose. Roughly what should be expected from the price. The watch worked well at first but stopped after four months which is about average for other mechanical watches I've purchased through amazon.
