Originally I gave these three stars because I didn't realize how small they were, and the hoops actually didn't fit around my ear. Other reviewers have said these particular earrings seem geared more for kids, size-wise, which I would agree with. It's not a bad thing if you like small earrings (and I do). Just be aware that they are quite tiny, both the studs and hoops, so these are pretty subtle (which personally I like, but just throwing that out there in case other people prefer ones that are bigger/more noticeable). Like I said, the hoops didn't fit my ear because of how small they are and where my piercing is located, but they might work for other people. What I will say is that I spent 12 dollars on these, expressed my dissatisfaction with the tiny hoop size in a review, and they were kind enough to send me four (!!!) free pairs of hoops that were slightly bigger. The bigger pairs actually did fit my ear and I love the way they look! I'm changing my review to a five star just because of the good customer service and the fact that these were still really pretty (loved both stud pairs) and the hoops probably fit plenty of people--just not me!The metal seems to be a decent quality, because they haven't tarnished and I wear them all the time. They are actually quite pretty and even if the hoops don't fit you, it still comes out to like 6 bucks a pair, which is still a good deal.

After I tried putting the tiny tiny hoops in for about an hour, I asked my husband for help. After he tried for another hour- they were finally in! Getting the hoops on initially is certainly a challenge due to the extremely small size, but once in, they look great. Still going strong 2 weeks later, the clasp has stayed put and they still shine.

Loving the stud earrings. They are perfect and small if you prefer low-maintenance earrings that don't require changing often. I have had the four stud earrings in for months now, and I love them. They look great! The hoops are very flimsy feeling and I have never actually succesfully worn them. Mine will not close correctly in the back. While I'm dissapointed with the hoops, I love the studs so much I'm buying them again to put in the holes where my hoops should be!

these earrings are cute! i ordered them because i self pierced my ears with these cheap things i found on amazon but once they healed i got these to change my jewelry! i love the small studs and the little hoops. i have been sleeping in them and showering with them on and i see no rust or tarnishing. i did sleep on one of my ears and it did get a little infected so please be careful. but these are in my fresh pierced ears and are doing fine! they really sparkle because they are so tiny! i recommend using different backings then they provided. get these!

Bought these for my 4 year old daughter as I wanted something very small for her. The studs are much smaller than I expected but yet the posts are super long so I'm afraid the backs will poke her so not even going to attempt to let her wear them. I put the hoops on her (also tiny but ok size for a small child) and one took me forever to latch as you have to fit it in a very tiny hole and it wasn't curved properly to fit so I had to bend it a bit but finally got it in there snug. However the one that I thought went in with ease was missing out of her ear within hours as it probably wasn't in fact latched securely. Would never buy these again and would not recommend for small child. Maybe I should have paid more attention to the fact that it says "cartilage earring."

New Update: They became tarnished within a couple of months, all the metal has become black and feel brittle.I had to order a replacement because an earring's stud from the first order was broken upon arrival. However it came again new in two days and theyre really cute and dainty. No problem sleeping with them in, and a good everyday earring without being too much. It did take me a bit of time to get the cuffs in around my ear and had to bend the metal a bit but once i got them to clasp it was sturdy and hasnt come out! I would recommend if youre looking for a cute, dainty set for everyday earrings

im only giving this 3 stars because they are cute and my style, i like small dainty studs. they are VERY small, smaller than any other pair of studs i have, but i still think theyre cute. there are a few cons though:1. for the hoop, some people have said in the reviews that it doesn't fit around their ear. mine does, and it looks nice and simple and dainty, but the problem is i cant figure out how to close the end!!!! the part that goes in your ear comes out from inside the other end of the hoop, and i got it out, and am able to put it thought the hole in my ear, but i cant put the part back in so the end will be closed off and the earring wont fall off of poke me. i have been trying at this for a few minutes trying to put it back in both while on my ear and off and i simply cant figure out how. which is a bummer because i can't wear them without closing off, which basically renders the hoop pair useless.2. they seem pretty flimsy, especially the hoops. while i was trying to figure out how to close the end i thought i was going to break it, they just seem very cheap and weak, im afraid they will turn my ears green or something.3. the price. with everything being said, they are simply not worth $15. I have gotten much larger and better quality sets from forever 21 for $8. and if im unable to get the hoops to work, thatll be 2 extremely small studs for $15, which is just too much for the quality.if these are your style and you dont mind the cons, they are not bad. came as advertised. just be careful.
