Looking at the image showing the mezuzah with the chain, the star faces to the front. But, if looked at closely, you can see that the mezuzah is rotated 90° from where it would normally hang. The front of the mezuzah faces to either side, but not to the front. If the ring is removed, the hole is too small to insert a chain. I had to attach a bail to the ring to allow the star to face to the front. The included chain is not very good and I replaced it, but the mezuzah is very nice. I would give it five stars if it were not for its facing to the side.

This mezuzah is perfect for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah Gift or anyone wanting to wear a smaller mezuzah. It is more beautiful in person and looks like real silver (although the chain could be a little nicer…it’s easily replaceable). This will be a gift, so hope the quality holds up, although it looks like it will.
