The principle of calendar jumping is that an independent gear system drives the two-digit disk to jump.
The ones disk jumps cyclically from 0-9, and the tens disk jumps cyclically from 0-3;
Therefore, the number 39 displayed in the calendar window of the watch is an objective phenomenon of the mechanical gear transmission cycle.
It is not a quality problem and can be manually adjusted to the 1st of the month.

I'm not too familiar with Olevs watches, most brands I know are along the lines of Casio, Fossil, or even Guess. But this watch has blown me away by the level of detail and accuracy put into it. Plus, the watch came with tools to adjust the band size, a clip go adjust the date, and instructions for care, maintenance, and adjusting the watch or the watch band. Definitely a brand I can get behind and I look forward to seeing what other works of art Olevs has to offer.
