I was looking for a so-called "baby chain", something that looks nice with my outfits but isn't too flashy or tacky looking. Previously I'd had another 3mm curb chain, also sterling silver, which I loved dearly but unfortunately lost when I took it off during an outing. I purchased this one to replace it and I can really say it has held up very well. I've been wearing this chain daily for four months with a small pendant and it has shown no signs of tarnishing or wear. I don't treat it very roughly or pull it on or anything like that, so it has not broken yet. The clasp is a little bit hard to use due to it being so small and therefore a bit difficult to open, but I don't take it off that often anyways. I'm not sure how well it stands up to water, as I always take it off before showering, but I would think it's best not to expose it to excessive moisture for too long. It's a great chain for the price, a little thinner than I expected but it is very shiny (the picture doesn't do it justice) and has continued to serve me well. Hopefully I don't lose this one either.

I got this necklace because i needed a necklace for my Miraculous Medal pendant. For what i spent, I am very happy with what I received. This is a sturdy, well made sterling silver necklace with a good clasp. There are no weak spots on the link that I can see and it hasn't given me a rash or made me itch, like SOME "sterling silver" has in the past...because of their choice of metals they meld in with the silver to make it stronger.All in all, a good purchase. And not our first purchase with Sac Silver....my husband has also bought other jewelry from this shop and always happy.I am going to be buying more chains from Sac Silver for my children's saint medals soon, and hope to be able to always buy from this shop.Excellent quality at an affordable price 💯(**the chain looks more shiny than the medal because the medal is very old.. at least 30 yrs old...i got it as a child.)

I purchased the 24-inch, 3mm Sterling Silver Italian Curb Chain about five and-a-half months ago. I put the necklace on the day it arrived, and haven't taken it off since. I wear it through the night... I wear it in the shower... - yet it still looks as new and shiny as the day I first put it on! So far I haven't had to clean or polish it even once. The finish is fantastic... and the clasp is easy to use and very strong. I've never had an issue with it opening up on its own or anything like that. The chain itself is strong too. I have four relatively heavy religious medals/pendants on it - and again, no issues.Bottom-line: This is a very high-quality necklace at an awesome price!

I mean, come on, for like 16 bucks you really aren’t going to beat this. It’s about equivalent of a $40 sterling chain off Etsy. The quality of the links are just fine. Nothing sticking together, and no major issues there. I was shocked at how little money they’re charging, so I did a magnet test with an extremely strong neodymium magnet and it did not stick at all, so it’s completely non magnetic as it should be. The only true silver test (nitric acid) isn’t worth bothering with on such an inexpensive item. I’ll update this if it ever changes but I’m plenty confident enough that this is real silver. It is quite shiny, so if you’re looking for that vintage style greyish dark sterling, look elsewhere. That being said I put a greyed sterling pendant on it and it still looks fine.

Got the 2mm 15 inch chain. Not only does the chain fall short of 2mm, there were some slight kinks in the chain upon arrival. Rather than send it back, I thought I'd give it a try to see if the kinks were conspicuous. Not too bad. Fast forward about a year...All the kinked areas on the chain have tarnished. Just the kinked areas. Odd.
