This extremely affordable quartz field watch is top notch! 40mm case diameter and 22mm lug width for straps. Very legible black dial with some lume, satin bead blasted look to the case, day/date complication, and red tipped seconds hand! The strap it came with was pretty stiff so I threw on a 22mm olive drab green canvas strap from Ritche and it pairs perfectly. Very comfortable and lightweight, highly recommended!

Just received watch yesterday. For the price appears to be a decent value. I find it odd that the only instructions with the watch was how to leave feed back on Amazon. No instructions on how to set watch was included. Illuminated hand are worthless. Only way I could see them in the dark was to hold the watch directly over a light bulb. Even then l could barely see them in dark. Band is for a smaller wrist. I have it in first hole and it barely fits. I am 6’2” 250lbs. All that being said it appears to be a nice daytime watch for 20 bucksUpdate 07/02/2019:Watch still performing well however be aware the crystal doesn't last very long. Mine watch crystal has developed a crack in it and I am afraid it will soon become a problem due. I wear the watch when most of the time and afraid the small hole that developed from the crack will draw its toll on the function of the watch.Update 08/14/19:We I can't say enough on how pleased I was after contacting the seller. They were very responsive to my problem with the broken crystal . They gave me a refund and apologized for the problem. They told me they didn't have a repair center in my area so that was the reason for the refund. The refund was applied to my form of original payment in a very timely manor. I will purchase another one of their watches.

I researched for 2 weeks for a field watch something I could use everyday. A watch where if it got ruined (broken or stratched) I wouldn’t be upset about. At the price point you are getting a nice looking watch. It’s approximately 40mm case with canvass band. Kept note my wrist is small (6.50). The band is soft on one side and clean looking on the other. I’m not sure on the durability of the band but I can’t complain overall it sits well once broken in. I went ahead and bought a brown band and it compliments the watch tremendously. (I’ll post pictures later). The watch met the features I was looking for. I wanted the time in 12/24, minutes, and date with both day of week and numerical. The finish is a matte black and looks very nice. I don’t plan on getting it wet but sprinkles of water (exp. checking the time in the rain) should be fine. I would not go swimming or showering with it on. The glass does not appear to feel cheap and thin and looks good. The watch overall does not weigh much which is nice because it makes it comfortable you may even forget you have it on. Some may want it to weigh more, personally I own plenty of watches from Rolex to Citizen and I can say taking a break on the weight is nice for a change. As for a TIP, if you get it and it’s not working (hands not moving) just give it a good slap on the watch face and it’ll get going like a new born baby. I bought both silver and black and had to do that with both. After that they were fine. Also the way I set the date and time is:1. I set it the date for 1-2 days prior to what the present date is (via moving the crown clockwise and counter clockwise).2. I then push/set the crown in the hour/time mode. I begin to turn the crown until the hands begin to move. When I see the day of the week change from Chinese to English, which is typically around the 12-2 marker I set that as my standard (so that’s my “midnight”). I then continue spinning the crown and when it crosses the 12 again I assume that’s noon. I then continue until I reach the correct time (keeping in mind every time the language changes that’s midnight so keep mental track of what time it is as it changes). That will assure you that when your watch is set it will change the date at midnight while you’re sleeping and not in the afternoon during your lunch time.

I bought this exact same model a second time. The first one worked great for 3 years before I lost it. The second one was dead on arrival. I removed the battery and tested it to find the battery was perfectly fine. That means the watch itself is broken. It doesn't tick at all. For that reason, I am reducing my rating from 5 stars to 1. Bad quality control, I guess. Sad times, because I enjoy the way this watch looks.-------------Original review: I received this watch today. It came in a foam-packaged jewelry box with protective films on the front and back faces and a plastic piece holding the adjustment crown open to prevent the battery from being used up. The band seems to be of a higher quality than similarly priced watches I've owned. There were clear instructions on how to set the day/date/time. To set the time, pull the crown out two positions and rotate it. The day display can alternate between English and Chinese and is adjusted by pulling the crown out one position and rotating it clockwise. The date displays from 1 to 31 so you will need to manually adjust it after the end of months which don't have 31 days, but this is trivial and again, easy to do by pulling the crown out one position and rotating counterclockwise to cycle the date.Like all watches I've ever seen which don't have perpetual movement, at some point on the clock face the second hand does not point precisely at the tick marks. On my watch, the second hand points exactly at the tick marks from seconds 10 to 32, but from 33 to 09 it is slightly off. This is not a problem since this timepiece is not intended to be a millisecond/microsecond measuring device, so I won't deduct a star for that.I will update this review in the future if I run into unexpected issues with the product or discover new features.Edit (3+ years later): I lost this watch when I took it off and forgot where I set it. It was working great up til that point. I have another watch now, not this brand, but a similar style. The only reason I went with the other brand is because it was less expensive, and I am a sucker for a bargain.
