I wear a large sports watch almost all the time, like literally all of the time except when it’s charging. I figured I should branch out for business meetings, Church, other social gatherings etc. so picked up this watch. I think it looks very nice and after setting it up it is very comfortable to wear as well.A few things for the setup. You pull the knob out all the way to adjust the date. After having the date set correctly, you push it in a very very tiny amount to get to the position where you set the time. It took me a few tries to realize it was such a small movement to go from the date set to the time set positions. Also, as far as removing sections of the wrist band, be very careful with the tool and the components that are used to push the pins out. As long as you have them lined up properly, it DOES NOT TAKE MUCH FORCE to turn the knob and push the pins out. If you have to apply a lot of force, you may not have it properly aligned in the tool to allow the pin to come out the other end. Just make sure you follow the instructions and are pushing on the correct side of the pin. One end of the pin has a mark and is a little larger. That’s not the side you push on. The other side has no mark and is a little smaller. That’s the side you push from. Also, make sure when putting the pins back in you put them in from the same direction from which you took them out. When removing pins, you really only need to push them out a few millimeters. NO NEED TO PUSH THE PINS ALL THE WAY OUT WITH THE TOOL. As soon as you can see the end of the pin, back the tool off, then simply pull the pin out with your fingers. They come out easily after you get them started with the tool. One of the pictures shows how little the pin needs to come out before you can grab it with your fingers to pull out the rest of the way. It’s the picture with another pin totally removed but pointing at the pin which is “just” out a tiny bit. That’s enough. Also, I found that it’s easier to get the band set in the tool, if you have set the pushing end of the tool into a pin-hole while the tool is more “closed” with the band angled slightly up out of the tool, then slowly back the tool out while very very gently guiding the band down to the proper position. Then after it’s set, start advancing the pin pusher again to push it out a tiny bit. That seems easier than having the tool backed way out, then trying to hold things still while advancing the pin pusher into one of the pin-holes. But each to their own there…When pushing them back in, again, make sure you’re putting them back in the same way they came out. You will most likely need to use the edge of the tool to push them back in the last tiny bit so they are flush with the edge of the wrist band.I took out one piece, reassembled, took out another, reassembled, then took out two more, then reassembled for the final fit, and had the hang of how to do it quickly after the first time.I do like that they include three of the pin removal heads just in case you accidentally bend or break one before you get comfortable with the process.

Strangely, the manufacturer lists this as having Arabic numerals. They are actually Roman numerals in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions on the watch face. The watches waterproof up to 30 m if that is important to you, and is obviously water resistant as well.I was looking for something that was a small step up from casual wear but not over the top and this is perfect. It's fashionable but not ostentatious. The band is stainless steel and the watch face measures 1.6 inches across. As with many watches in this price range or fashion class, you pull the adjustment pin out all the way to change the date. Push it back in just a little bit to set the time and you are good to go. It displays the time, the day and the date.It has the standard adjustment process if you need to resize The watch band. What's nice is that the manufacturer has included a couple of extra pinheads in case you damage one when you are sizing up the watch. It looks great. I like that it doesn't have a ton of functions that you have to pay for but you will never use. It looks good on my wrist for casual wear and for business. I recommend it for men looking for a waterproof, stainless steel men's watch that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for.I almost forgot. The manufacturer mentions diamonds in the product description. There is no way that these are diamonds at this price tag. They are most probably cubic zirconia or something like that. The so-called diamonds replace the numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 on the watch face.

The Taxau mens watch offerings are designs that are homage to classic dress watches. They have many retro styling cues and very elegant and clean. My sample came with a silver face, and roman numerals and a round bezel. The case is highly polished of a Vacuum plated layer over a likely zinc body. It's too light to be stainless steel, and not at this asking price. The case is a proper size of 41-43mm category. The bracelet is stainless steel of multiple folded links. It is brushed finish underneath, while the top gets the same polished vacuum-plating finish as the case. The edge between brushed bottom and sides is kind of sharp and can be uncomfortably scratching. But I did feel them once fitted and worn. The fitting was a major issue with this bracelet though. Taxau includes a pin tool for the bracelet with 3 pin sizes. The default on the tool is the WRONG size being the largest. The tool pins bend easily. The large one didn't fit the hole and bent immediately with some pressure. I tried another, the smallest and it managed to enter the hole and pushed one pin out. But the second link, it bent again and got jammed inside the link! I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to extract the pin. The middle sized pin turned out to be the proper diameter. BUT it too became jammed and bent. I've never had such trouble or experience like this with other watches and tools. So I inspected the bracelet links and found the cause! The small links are folded, and create a triangular opening for the pin. It is not a hole the size of the pin. Once you push the pin pass the outer link, the pin and tool can become misaligned and you are pushing against the link body and thus results in bent pins.It took an hour of fumbling with the tool and links to finally size the bracelet properly for my wrist. A 10-minute task became a frustrating and difficult event! In the end I had to throw away the pin tool as all the pins were bent and couldn't be straightened perfectly. For this experience with the bracelet design, and the damaged link and pin tool, I took away 2 stars from the watch's overall rating. Fortunately I had surplus links to work with and the damaged link wasn't an issue for me.In conclusion, the watch is handsome, has a classic dress watch of yesteryear style. With its silver face, roman numerals and rhinestone accents, it has a luxury watch appeal. And it fits comfortably. I like how it uses standard spring bars for its bracelet and case and one can opt to exchange a leather band if desired for an alternative look. And the watch is equipped with illume paint for hands and 8 diagonal hour indicators. It comes in 3 face colors, the other two are black and gray. I would have preferred black, but the silver face version is quite elegant. It is a nice watch if you can get past the bracelet issues.
