After 18 years of marriage, a lot of good food, and a bit of arthritic swelling of the finger joints, I was forced to retire my titanium/gold wedding band before I could not longer get it off my finger. Being that I felt that ring was special on that special day, any replacement wouldn't be as sentimental (nor would it need to be high dollar). As I work with my hands a lot, I opted to try out some of the very comfy (and slightly higher priced) silicone rings. I figured they would do a good enough job of marking me off the market yet I wouldn't be upset if I buggered them up.After a couple of years and a couple of rings wearing out, i decided that I wanted to look back into a metallic ring to wear. I didn't want to go back with anything more than $100, though. I started looking into Tungsten Carbide. While not something I would want to wear if I worked at a factory or if i put my hands in engines often, I liked that it was durable and cost effective. When this particular ring popped up to try out, I had to try it out.One of the first things to point out is that this ring by Gentlemen's Bands is a bit spendier than other Tungsten rings. That said, it looks and feels really well executed. I wear a size 9, and the ring fits perfectly. The interior is chamfered smooth and does not dig into my skin. The design is a bit blockier around the outside, so expect to feel a bit of a dig-in around your other fingers if you squeeze them against the ring, but it's not painful. I can't be sure, but it feel like it has a smoother finish on the side opposite of the cut in ring. It feel more comfortable to wear it that way, anyway. The ring itself is lovely. The "chipped and chiseled" angles catch the light even on the dark finish of the band, and the single cut-in dresses the ring up a bit. It certainly has more a modern than "classic" look. Tungsten isn't light like titanium and especially not as light as silicone, but it's been comfortable to wear all day every day.The packaging was really well done. It came in a nice little draw string bag and the ring was housed in a tiny little wooden hat box. On top of that, as Tungsten is material that can be dangerous to wear when working around moving things as it does NOT give, they included a black silicone ring. I thought it was a nice touch if you are worried about keeping your fingers safe or your tungsten ring's finish unmarred. Now, my one downside to this ring (and probably why they included the silicone ring), the black is not super durable. The tungsten is nearly diamond hard, but the finish on the ring is not. After a single trip to the gym, the bars have put a nick or two in the black finish. It's really not a big deal as 1.) I bought this ring to wear and my original wedding band is all kinds of scarred up. and 2.) This isn't an heirloom of a ring. If it gets beat up, that just shows the ups and downs of life.I only point it out lest someone scruff their ring and be disappointed. Honestly, if they ring were just straight tungsten, you'd probably never see the scuffs. In short, if you are looking for an affordable and well made wedding band that won't break the bank, the Gentlmens Band is a good purchase.

After receiving the ring, I did a little searching for the brand and found that this ring is being sold on the brand's site for $299 labeled as "The Blade" with the same pictures. Since the ring here is listed for $99, I am quite curious as to the authenticity especially with some other inconsistencies found with the ring and what was meant to be included. The ring sizing is right, the look matches appropriately, and it comes with a bag (maybe leather although maybe not) labeled with the Gentlemen's Bands logo on it, a walnut box, and the silicone band as promised, however, it didn't have any warranty card as pictured in the listing. When inspecting the ring, it looks as it should for the most part. I'm actually not entirely thrilled with the design as the "white gold" inlay is actually recessed which allows for the accumulation of debris in the slot and will easily get gunked up over time. It was the inside of the ring that had me really questioning the quality and authenticity of the ring, though. The inside is nicely rounded and smoothed, but there was no branding embossed on the inside as represented in the item description (as well as no indication of a gold marking) and then there are black flecks all around the inside of the band that should be bare metal (pictures attached) which I wouldn't expect from a quality brand selling a ring for $300 (or even the current $100).Is it a bad ring? No, it has the feeling of a quality item with the accents of the bag and box and comfortable fit... but getting a $300 ring for $100 and seeing a handful of indications that it may not be genuine to the brand... gives me enough reason to question the authenticity which makes me wonder if the materials are genuine as well.

This ring feels and looks like luxury without the high price. The hammered brushed design, paired with a silicon band and a beautiful walnut ring box, gives it a timeless and luxurious feel.

I can definitely see this as a wedding ring. It's not only very stylish and modern looking but it's also made of high quality tungsten, a very dense metal that is incredibly durable. The rings got weight and shine to it making it feel high end. It isn't my first Tungsten jewelry and since Tungsten is all the rage, a lot of stores are using Tungsten now. My Tungsten rings are absolutely durable and haven't had a scratch on them. Packaging feels premium, the ring is placed in a rustic case with a high quality material drawstring bag in black. The ring box is so nice and definitely reusable to store your rings. The inner ring is a smooth metal while the outer ring has  3d textures around and a silver accent. The size is true and it feels very comfortable to wear. All in all, these rings look so clean and stylish and anyone can wear them.

Yeah, strip of white gold. It's more like a strip of PLATED white gold, plus they cannot and do not even tell you what karat of gold this is. I had it tested by my local gold pawn guy, who's always been fantastic, and I watched as he tested it (which was difficult, as it's not even a 'strip' it's more of a weird ditch in the ring, or a channel. Watched as everything he tested floated off and dissolved in the acid. For a hundred bucks, you can do WAY better than this. This is just a regular tungsten carbide band. Yes it IS nice and solid, but there is little to no gold. Again, you'll find that you cannot even find any indicator of any karat or anything of the sort.
