These bands are great! They are classic and work perfectly with vintage watches. There is a reason the Twist-O-Flex has been around so long. They are comfortable, fun, and last a long time. You won't be buying a new band for 20 years or ever. The downside is fitting. Yes, you can resize it yourself if you have tweezers, a watch knife, magnifying glasses, a soft cloth, a watch block, and a lot of patience. Any other way and you will likely end up ruining the band or giving up in frustration after an hour and cutting yourself. Better to take it to a certified Spiedel watch band jeweler. Go to Spiedel's website and find out who in your area can do it, because some jewelers will not touch these bands. I went to an old Mom and Pop jeweler that was familiar with the bands from the Spiedel website. Looks great!

This watch band is by far the most convenient, comfortable, and durable that I own. It slips on with ease and stays in place. I hardly notice I'm wearing a watch. I've been wearing it off and on for a couple of months with no visible signs of wear. It was a breeze to install, although I did need a small screwdriver to compress the pins. My only dislike is that there's not a version that fits lug spacing larger than 22mm, at least I couldn't find one. I've got some larger watches I'd like to use this same type of band with.

The band is nice and comfortable and arrived as promised. The problem with "easy to install" is the same as I have always had with the Speidel bands and not the sellers problem. Shortening the band to fit, is not and easy task and requires a removing segments of the band and handling some very small parts. I have gone through 3 bands with this watch, it is almost 50 years old, and made the same adjustments every time. You would think, by now, I would be good at it, but it seems like a challenge every time. Love the band and delivery and hope to live long enough to have to replace a few more.

Great Band - feels and looks great once installed properly; got that Speidel quality!! Unfortunately info given implies band is easy to install and shorten if necessary. Needs much better tools than I have and I've installed numerous other bands with no problems. Removing links, very difficult. Watched jeweler who took 25 min to do so. Dropped by ONE star to warn DIY-ers. Band itself deserves 5++ stars.

As i finally joined the ranks of those who track their steps, i needed a watch band other than the crappy silicone ones these products arrive with. Remembering the Speidel ads from my childhood, i was delighted to find a silver-gold band that would fit my device. Though i've only owned this one about a week, i know from previous experience that it will last my entire lifetime! For comfort and durability, Speidel can't be beat! This customer is delighted. Truly.
