After almost 2yrs of wearing this band and swimming at the gym 4 days a week this band has held up beautifully without any issues. The band also looks very nice on my watch.Reason for upgrade to 5 Stars -* I initially rated this band 3 Stars because I was expecting something a little more masculine and I rated it a unisex band when it arrived. Eventually the slightly smaller width of the band didn't bother me as much and I really began to like the looks more and more.* I recently bought a replacement in the $15 range that was very popular and had good ratings. That band lasted less than 2 weeks and began to crack and tarnish.I SENT THE MORE EXPENSIVE BAND BACK FOR FULL REFUND AND JUST PLACED MY SECOND ORDER OF THIS BAND. Note - The primary reasons I'm reordering this band is: a) I wrecked the 1st one while working on my engine and not removing my watch b) the other band lasted less than 2 weeks and I now have a much greater respect and appreciation of the quality of this band.

This looks really nice in person. I bought it for my husband as a replacement band for his Seiko 5, and he loves it. Very snazzy, seems to be decent quality. Good for the price.

Maybe I shouldn't have expected much from such an inexpensive strap, but this is very plasticky, stiff, cheap leather, not even worth buying. I spent only a few dollars more to buy a proper full-grain leather strap; I'd suggest doing the same

This strap, as others have said, definitely looks more burgundy than brown. The build quality is acceptable for the price, it's thick and padded well, the buckle is solid, but the materials used are unsurprisingly cheap. The imitation leather is plasticky and the crocodile leather pattern on my band doesn't match the one shown in the first picture. The way it is embossed looks very fake and won't really fool anyone. In addition, the spring bars that came with my strap are very thick and longer than the ones I usually use with 18mm straps, so much so that they didn't fit in one of my watches and were very difficult to remove from the other, even with a spring bar tool. There's not much to expect from a strap at this price point, but even so I would not recommend it.

leather very stiff despite efforts to make it more flexible. be aware of color of buckle match with face of watch...i missed that and have a mis-matched metal trim watch.Otherwise, quality very good for price, just stiff. Hope it will soften with time.

Pretty much what I expected. There is a little slider knob on the spring loaded mounting pins that made installation easier.

I originally wanted a watch from JCrew but i decided to try and make my own version of it. This strap is a sturdy construction and easily slipped into the spot of the original band. It looks sharp and is breaking in nicely. Happy I decided to buy this, rather than pay another 150 for the jCrew.

Very attractive, fits perfectly onto the watch that won't give up!
