It is automatic so no need to wind it or change batteries ever. It uses the movement of your hand and wrist to wind itself. It’s waterproof so you can wear it in the shower, pool or ocean. It performs perfectly. Quality made and very comfortable. I gave my first one to my grandson because he loved it so I am wearing my second one. I had the first one for 6 years before giving it to my grandson and he has worn it for 2 years without any issues. A truly great timepiece!
