I purchased this watch to go on a long trip. I didn’t want to be concerned about changing batteries while traveling. These days it is so hard to find a wind up watch at a reasonable price. This watch will compliment any outfit. It was listed as a mens watch, but it works as a unisex item too.

The watch looks good. My issues are with the bracelet. The links are thin and the clasp is just plain flimsy. Also adjusting the length of the bracelet is a pain. Getting those pins out of the links is tough, and putting them back after taking out links is even tougher. I guess that's expected for a $30. price tag.

I'm genuinely surprised by the accuracy, fit & finish, and wearability of this piece. It's a 40mm case with 20mm lugs, so it's the right size for a casual piece of this kind. The hands line up perfectly at 12:00, and after 24 hours, the watch doesn't appear to have gained more than 1 minute (although 2 minutes a day is acceptable for a watch of this price). The sunburst on the dial & subdial look great in person.That said, it's a $24 hand-wind mechanical watch, so you need to temper your expectations a bit. The small seconds hand is a bit jumpy in spots, but it doesn't seem to have a meaningful impact on the accuracy of the watch overall. The brown strap is of questionable quality and took about half an hour to break in. I don't expect it to last long, but for now, it's staying on the watch because I think it looks great.

I need to keep an eye on it for a longer period of time, but it's keeping pretty good time so far. Most of my watches are mechanical automatics with date. That means if i set them down for a few days, I not only need to wind them, I need to set the date and time. That's a bit of a bother, given the time is relative to AM and PM. This watch is a plain, 12 hour device. Wind it, set it to the time, and put it on. There aren't many watches like that these days, and what few there are tend to be on the expensive side. The band is not a high-end leather band, but it doesn't seem like a really cheap one, either. I'm pleased with the watch, and it will probably end up as my go-to everyday watch.

Really wanted a traditional, wind-up, mechanical watch. Reasonable price. But not very accurate: it gains 2 minutes a day. Made in China :-(
