Beautiful watch, only kept time for 24 hours, then stopped running...I have contacted Amazon to sort the problem, so will post another review if we get a replacement that works. It seems that other Stuhrling have had the same issues with their perpetual motion watches, so it may be a manufacturer issue. Wish me luck to get a replacement!

this watch is a really nice affordable example of a mechanically sound watch. it's off by about 2-4 minutes every month which seems to be a consistent trait among less expensive (and even most of the expensive ones too) mechanical watches. There are two downsides to this watch, the first being that there is so much going on in the face/dial of the watch that its sometimes hard to see what hour it is. The second is the fact that there is hardly any reserve time which means you have to reset this watch unless you wear it every day, as i do not. Overall good time piece, kind of loud ticking which i assume has to do with the chinese movement. Not sure the durability on it but i have had mine for a few months with no issue(i know that doesnt mean much). The up-sides are great, flashy enough yet not over the top. The day of the month is a nice touch, and i like the standard numbers instead of the numerals which give it too dressy of a look IMO. The band is nice and comfortable and everything feels sturdy within the watch. Time will tell however as i have only had the watch for a few months.
