Great watch, looks great

This is a good watch, especially for the price. It looks great and feels quite substantial with a nice watch band. Timekeeping accuracy is outstanding! I haven't needed to adjust it since I bought it, which I find remarkable. The appearance is similar to an expensive Rolex, although without the date function. If you buy this watch, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Beautiful dive watch. Timex has never disappointed me before and this watch is no exception. It came a bit large but was easy to size on my own. It looks far more expensive than it actually is. It is very stylish, I like the large size and wear it constantly. The only feature I wish it had is Indiglo. The glow-in-the-dark features are pretty dim. However, I didn't purchase this watch to run around in the dark trying to tell time but, when I do want to see it, I can't really. That does take away from the best possible functionality of a dive watch and being able to keep track of your dive time. I'm not a diver so this isn't a HUGE deal for me. I bought it more for the appearance than to dive with. Remember the old advertisement "Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'?" I do. It does. That's why I buy Timex.

The media could not be loaded.  Timex has had a watch like this in their inventory on and off for as long as I can remember. I think I had one in the late 1980s. I took delivery of this watch very recently, but didn’t keep it. Here’s why:First the good:1. It’s 44 mm, but the lugs are short, making this an easy watch to wear even on my 6.75 inch wrist.2. The lume lasts all night3. The ticking volume is low by Timex standards4. It looks awesomeThe not good:1. I don’t like the strap. It tapers too much for a watch this size. It’s also more of a straw color in real life. I took it off immediately and put on the olive Zulu strap you see in my video—partly to protect the original strap, and partly because olive nylon looks awesome on dive watches. The distance between lugs is 20mm, so you have many choices.2. This isn’t a dive watch. It’s diver inspired. The lack of screwdown crown on a watch like this gave me extreme cognitive dissonance. Still, 100 m of water resistance is quite good, but I would’ve felt better if the crown screwed in, or at least sat fully flush with the case.3. The bezel is unidirectional, which is good, but didn’t exactly line up with dial indices.4. The cyclops date magnifier was ever so slightly crooked.5. Lume lasts but is by no means bright. Superluminova this is not.In the end, as great as it looks, Timex could do better. At a minimum, properly align the bezel and cyclops magnifier, and improve the lume.Wishlist: all of the above in stainless steel with the screw down crown.Style wise, with this and their field watches, and retro pieces, Timex totally gets me. They just need a bump in quality and consistency.

This particular watch had 72 clicks per full revolution. Other watches in this line had 120 or 60. 72 divided by 12 is 6, which means that there are 6 clicks per 5 minutes. So unless you’re setting the bezel on a 5,10,15 etc, it’ll be between minutes. Seems like a strange design decision.

What a piece of garbage - horrible quality. This watch could not keep time. I had 4 batteries replaced within the 1st month after recieving the watch, so it wasn't the battery. I found out Timex neither licenses nor sales replacement parts to watch repair venues and that I would have to mail the watch to their "off-shore facility" as they put it - in order to get the watch repaired. Further in their e-mail, Timex told me to expect a period of 1 to 2 months for my watch to be repaired and returned to me. What a piece of s***. So, I threw this watch into the river and bought a less expensive Casio from Walmart. I could not be happier, now.

This watch has good overall Construction and the band sits comfortably on the wrist, its what makes Timex quality very evident in this model of a quartz movement time piece.

I can't believe it's a TIMEX.... it resembles a high end watch and can't complain about the price.
