I don't always do reviews, except for exceptionally bad or good products AND after having/using them for a fair amount of time to judge.....I am happy to say this review is due to this watch exceeding my expectations! For context, I consider myself a "watch person". My watch box is full of watches mostly in the $100-500 MSRap range. To me, my judgment on a timepiece are based on its performance and value (keep in mind, I'm basing this review on its price/value)FINISH/FEEL - this watch has a decent band, snaps securely, and used decent pins. The crystal does appear to be true glass, not Hardlux. Crown screws in and out smoothly, and buttons are tactile and feel as they shouldDURABILITY - I have worn this for almost 3 months now, and have had ZERO problems.Most important: TIME ACCURACY: if research is correct, this uses same movement as the high end Seiko. Most of my watches lose or gain 1 to 5 minutes over month. I set this to my cell phone clock the day I received and to this day, have had to make ZERO corrections.Summary: in comparing it with pieces IN ITS CLASS pricewise, this watch is nothing short of phenomenal: looks good, stays looking good, feels solid, and is ACCURATE ACCURATE ACCURATE!!! It was an amazing gift for my boyfriend and was definitely worth every penny spent HIGHLY RECOMMEND

...only things keeping it from a five star rating for me are: 1. necessity to go to jeweler to downsize the band length which came at largest setting, 2. clasp could be a more simple design, and 3. a screw stem to set the time instead of pull out type ( preferred with an automatic with need to reset if not worn often enough to keep it running - hesitant to use winding feature ). Again, watch is quite eye catching and I've always liked a magnifying section on the crystal over the date as this one has. Note: quick release watchband gives option to change out if you don't want to have to pay $15 +/- to adjust the fit - has traditional spring bar pins within closure clasp ( as opposed to at the watch body itself ). Its timekeeping accuracy tbd and the instruction booklet is somewhat generic as it is for multiple watches sold by this company, e.g. band adjustment not shown for this model. Uni directional rotating bezel has a black matte finish which also looks good, but markings are not very visible on it; otherwise white watch hands contrast well w/ black face to read in the dark but it has no luminous feature that I know of. If you need a day of week window, maybe get a personal assistant instead or a calendar.

Great product. Sleek and elegant. Minimalist watch. Value for money if not more. Packaging could be better but who cares, the watch itself is amazing.

The small indentions in the clasp will not hold the spring bar in place. The watch has dropped from my wrist twice now luckily undamaged by the fall. I had to take a wooden mallet and lightly bang the walls in on the clasp so that the spring bar would better connect with the micro-adjust holes. There are some challenges with this watch but overall happy with purchase. In addition, also purchased the similar model but on a steel bracelet and here again the bracelet was an issue. The pressure pins are impossible to remove even with the awful link removal tool provided. I would have been happy to spend another $10-15 dollars to have a bracelet with screws instead of the cheap pressure pins. The steel bracelet is of overall poor quality and the gold is only on one side of the bracelet.
