Mr. Paul Scott
The Pagani Design watch is a really good value for its price. I did have a faulty bracelet, but they replaced it right away at no charge, so they still get 5 Stars.Winding mechanism is very smooth, great looking watch and it keeps great time, very reliable so far.I highly recommend Pagani Design Watches. Alot of nice colors & options to pick from. Has the reliable NH35A movement.

This watch is a beast, 43mm and heavy. OK movement: NH35 Seiko auto w/ hack and manual wind.Looks almost identical to Submariner. The "except" part is it has no bracelet micro adjustments. If you get one, you may want to also buy a Glidelock (Rolex clone 9mmx9mm) clasp for 16 to 40 bucks that matches the color scheme of the original clasp. Otherwise, just removing links may not give you a well tuned fit. Actually wanted the 40mm version but it was almost 30 bucks more expensive. Got this bigger one on discount with coupon. Still the one I got looks pretty good, and with a sapphire crystal, solid, milled bracelet, ceramic bezel, a better deal than most other Submariner "homage" watches for the money(IMHO).

Comparison to Seiko Scuba Divers WatchMy watch: Pagani Design watch (PD194 w/Seiko NH 35A movement) has the black ring, black face.I've owned a lot of watches in the past 60 years, however, not any in the league of Rolex etc., which some people are comparing this sub $100.00 watch. Comparing the Pagani to a Rolex is a bit ridiculous but do own a Seiko divers watch to which I'm comparing the mechanical adjustment , the outer ring and the watch adjustment crown. These are not only common to both watches but also a good comparison for their mechanical ability of the adjustment ring & crown. If only appearance was considered then I'd say the Pagani is a virtual clone to the Rolex Sub Mariner. If the goal of owning this watch is to have a Rolex look, then I'd say mission accomplished.First impressions:Things didn't start off well as my Pagani watch arrived in a thin plastic Amazon bag. When I say thin it was just a very thin plastic bag with no padding at all! Not a very smart way to ship any watch. Inside the plastic bag was the decorator watch box containing the watch. Strange as most of my Amazon items are shipped over boxed and often with excessive packaging. Thankfully the watch was unscathed.Verdict for shipping: Poor for shipping a watch. The Watch Body :After removing the watch from the box and removing the protective film I was amazed at the quality of this watch and the band. The watch case body is made of 316L Stainless steel which is excellent marine grade stainless. Very impressive at this price point! The crystal is synthetic sapphire glass and with a little research I found that natural and synthetic sapphire are indistinguishable from each other, however, synthetics are virtually defect free of imperfections and perhaps the better choice.I inspected the watch very closely and once again amazed at the fit & finish! Even under magnification I saw virtually no machining or polishing marks. I worked in a machine shop and I can tell you this watch was machined & finished very well!. The clear back crystal which allows to view the movement is rather nice too.Verdict: Overall I would rate the watch body to be exceptional, especially considering its cost.Water ResistanceI wore this watch swimming in salt water for over an hour and after a couple days found no issues . My guess would be this watch will fare well in most normal water immersion situations. Personally I'll never go more than a few feet under water with or without a watch so in that regard it's fine for me. Would I take it scuba diving? Sure, perhaps to 50' feet or so. Todays watches are very water resistant. I have a $20.00 digital watch I've gone swimming with for over a year and never an issue. I wear it during yard work, home repair projects and often clean it with a garden hose. I rated the water proofing 4 stars because I cannot verify it's max depth water proofing. Verdict: So far so good. The Watch BandThe stainless watchband seems very well made and the screwed-in removable band links where a surprise as that feature does add to the manufacturing cost which for a sub $100 watch is quite amazing. A small jewelers screw driver is included to remove small screws fastening the links. Again I was was impressed with the machining, and finish. . Verdict for the watch band: Very good!Seiko NH35A MovementI set the time using the National Institute of Standards & Technology website . After 24 hours my watch was -6 seconds which at first caused me some disappointment (all my current watches are electric movements and very accurate), however, after researching automatic watches I found that this Seiko NH 35A has a rated accuracy of -20 / +40 seconds per day. My -46 seconds after the first day would be considered exceptional! The Seiko movement is very well rated and there's no lack of detailed reviews available online as there's dozens of quality brand watches which use them. The second hand, rotates very smoothly and a good indication of the quality of the movement which at 24 jewels is exceptional for any watch. The hour and minute hands rotate very nicely with with no play. The adjustment crown has a good tight fit in engaging and locking however I had problems at times finding the date position. The directional rotating bezel ring is not the quality as my Seiko divers watch as it has bit of slop in between clicks and could have a bit more resistance while rotating. The outer notches of the ring are a bit sharp but I can smooth them out with some polishing rouge & a cotton Dremel bit. Not a deal breaker at all for me. Verdict: Overall very good ..Overall conclusion: After a few days my initial impressions are very good. The watch construction is excellent, it looks fantastic and is very comfortable to wear. At under $100.00 it's a great deal! At this time I'm giving a 4 star rating rating because I've only had this watch a few days. I will update as necessary.

Pagani Design is hitting homeruns with all of their watches! I don't hate on homage watches and really enjoy this pd1639. The specs of this watch are worth well-over $200+! I have an 8in wrist and really enjoy the comfort and look of this watch. This design is paying homage to the Rolex and def gives off Bond 007 vibes! I think buying less expensive watches with good quality makes watch collecting a fun hobby. Regarding the micro adjustments, I found using some dental floss helps remove the spring bar easily. Hope this review helps! Will def buy again! Cheers

There are three problems. First the color of the bezel and the dial do not match. In indirect light the bezel may appear to be black. In bright light it is a darker green than the dial. Second my watch does NOT have a Seiko automatic movement as the seller advertised. Mine has a Miyota movement that I believe is Japanese but made by the Citizen Watch Co. The movement runs slightly fast and is not as accurate as other watches I have that use the Seiko NH35A movement. (With a magnifying glass I can read the manufacturer on the flywheel which is too small to photograph. Sorry).Third I had to try using three different screws until one kept the watch band together after I sized it. Until I figured this out the watch fell off my wrist twice. Still, I decided to keep it because it is a good value and attractive even with the mismatch of the dial and bezel and the inaccuracy of the movement is small so I can live with it. Most importantly, the seller should have to correct the description on their page to indicate the type of watch movement they actually use. A more accurate photo showing the true colors of the bezel and dial would be helpful too.

Time remains accurate so far. It’s been almost a month now. Great look. Only cons is the bracelet. Buckle has sharp edges and is easily scratched. Will buy again

Cheaply made. But expected. Watch is good and bracelet is garbage. Replaced it with much more comfortable nato.

Watch is impecable especially with the NH35 movement. Build quality is great and fits wrist well. Became my go to watch over my SKX007.
