I've been flipping back and forth on this watch for awhile I wanted it because it is a classic (but so is an AMC gremlin) so just because it's a classic doesn't always mean it's a good thing. I'm probably not the only one thinking it's Chinese made😬 and automatically thinking of the Chinese stuff from the dollar store=complete junk. But I'm glad I got it, because that thought was way off! This watch is fantastic and very high quality also very accurate. Are the parts in it made to high standards or as high quality as the plastic parts in Tissot? Will it last as long as a Timex? Who knows but I do have a trias pilots watch with seagull movement bought in 08 still going strong so I'm inclined to think so. If your on the fence about buying this watch,just do it! For the price treat yourself to a fantastic watch after all you deserve it. I've worn it everyday since I got it and gains or loses around 10 seconds a day so very good even better than seiko that costs twice as much. Every time I look down at my wrist I try to come up with a reason to not be completely satisfied with everything about or anything about it but I just can't. It makes me smile and feel a little smug that I discovered something I bet alot of people don't know about. To sum it up great and absolutely gorgeous watch (hate to say something unmanly like pretty) but it is very pretty for a military watch. So far so good and time will tell but definitely at this point you certainly get alot if watch for the money and that's something we all can appreciate.
