I have 2 small boys ages 3 and 5. I bought them this necklace each because I didn’t want to buy a real gold necklace in fear they might lose it. It’s perfect for my boys, it’s light weight and comfortable. They even tug on them from time to time and it has never snapped. I haven’t had any issues, other then after a few wears the necklace starts getting a dark tint. A quick wash with soap and water and it looks brand new. I ended up buying another necklace because one of them got lost. Fast forward to months later. As I’m cleaning out my humidifier, I stumble across the ‘lost’ necklace. (Don’t ask how it got there I have no idea 😅) I look and the water is brown and looks rusty, the necklace is also brownish. I’m like no way this necklace survived months in a humidifier filled with water. I took the necklace and washed it with soap and water and to my surprise it looked brand new! It didn’t look faded, it didn’t turn color, still has its shine. Amazing necklace!!!!! Worth every penny!!!

I got the 24K plated, 5mm, 24" version of this necklace and I've worn it a lot more than I probably should have. Before I go into detail, I'll say that I love it and I would absolutely get it again.PROS:-LOOKS as close to my real, solid 24K gold as any fake jewelry I've bought has gotten. Shines like the real gold as well, the sheen is almost identical.-FEELS as close to my real, solid 24K gold as any fake jewelry I've bought has gotten, super light but a lot more durable than 24K gold.-Hasn't worn at ALL with extremely regular use and heavy sweating / heat / humidity over a 6+ month period-Unbelievable / unbeatable price for appearance, feel, and qualityCONS:-None that I can think of at this time, will update if there are ever anyI own quite a bit of real, solid 24K gold jewelry that I keep in a lock box at the bank. I'm someone who likes a little flash and fashion, but I'm also incredibly practical and don't believe in spending thousands on jewelry someone can easily mimic anyway. There's plenty of fake jewelry out there now that looks like the real thing, and no one's ever actually gonna know unless it's super over the top / gaudy, or they test it on the spot, or they're a trained jeweler. Even then, they'd probably still have to test it. So, instead of wearing one of my real pieces of gold and potentially losing it or getting it stolen, I bought several of these necklaces online from different brands and this one was BY FAR the best one. I don't even wear the other ones. The top two things to note about this is 1. This has to be the best plating I've ever seen. I live in hot / humid North Carolina and I wore this all throughout the summer and into the winter and it STILL hasn't shown any sign of rubbing off or wearing. It looks the closest to the real 24K gold I own. And, 2., most plated gold jewelry is super heavy and if you've ever held real, solid 24K gold, it's extremely light and fragile. While this obviously isn't as light as the real gold I have, it's as close to it as I've ever felt. That makes me feel even better going out with it on, not to mention having confidence it won't snap or break since it's stainless steal underneath. I would highly recommend getting this brand of neckless, I'll definitely be coming back for another one if / when this one wears out!

After less than 24 hours of wearing this chain, I broke out in a rash wherever it touched my skin.I'm not allergic to gold.I'm not allergic to stainless steel.I am allergic to, and break out in a rash when I touch, the metal nickel.This gives me reason to believe this chain is not made of what the seller claims. Apparently I'm not by he only person who thinks this.Sorry for posting the less-than-pleasant picture of my neck rash. Hopefully the seller will understand there's more to misleading people about their jewelry than just money.Otherwise, the chain seems pretty sturdy. For people who don't have an allergy and can wear nickel, it's probably fine, but people should have an honest idea about what they are buying.
