I’m glad I paid attention to the reviewers who said this bracelet runs small. Ordinarily, I would need a 7 1/2. I ordered a size up in this, and I’m glad I did. It fits a little big, but that’s much better than being too tight. If this is an 8 1/2, there is no way the 7 1/2 would have fit me.The bracelet is lightweight and simple. It is easy to read. The lettering on mine is brown, not black, which is kind of odd. However, the font is dark enough, large, and easy to read. Overall, for the price, this is a five-star purchase.

I ordered this for my wife. She has yet to wear it because it's too tight. She ordered the 7.5" as that was the exact length of the one she needed to replace and the best fit for her. I measured this new one we ordered and if you stretch it to its full length and by that, I mean no slack, and pulling it out end-to-end it measures out right at 7.25" and that's pulling it out to the max stretch. So in its relaxed state and not making it stand tall comes in closer to 7 inches. Which means a very tight bracelet for her and no room at all for a relaxed comfortable fit. I don't know if that means the 8.5" bracelet is the same way and at best it's really around 8.0 to 8.25" So I either return it or keep it and add some jump rings to add length. :(Just be aware. Otherwise, it seems okay and it is on the smallish side for the links. Her last one was more robust and the links were about twice the size. This one is more dainty.

I had to return the first bracelet because they sent the wrong size. Shipping had been kind of slow compared to Amazon standards so I was discouraged that I would have a long wait. But they shipped one back to me as soon as they received notification that my return was received at Kohls (where I did my return) and I got the replacement a few days later. It fit perfectly. This second one is also towards the lower end of the range they list so be careful how you select sizing and I would suggest you return for replacement if it is too small. The bracelet comes in a beautiful velvet pouch which I think is kind of unnecessary. They could spend the cost of that on one more chain link and I think they would have more satisfied customers! Anyway, I couldn't be happier, this is just what I wanted. Don't pay attention to the old hands in the picture I provided :)

Not what expected. Emblem is is small and engraving .Have to peer at it to see. Not good for emergency!!!!!!!

I have only had / worn this bracelet for about 4 days now, and the letters are already fading in the middle. this is definitely concerning as wearing this bracelet could be the difference between life and death.you get what you pay for, unfortunately. will definitely be buying a more high quality bracelet.

Good quality and I love the ability to adjust the size. Sturdy. So far the red medical symbol hasn't faded.
