My son needed this for his heart condition at school. He preferred this style to the traditional. It's "cooler" I guess for a teenager. The clasp did break but their customer service was the absolute best! They sent a replacement right away and they were so kind about it. No fuss at all. And the new one has been holding strong.

Although this bracelet is really sturdy and beautiful — and waterproof, too, so you don’t have to take it off to shower! — the instructions for adjusting the band lengths are really bad. Even after you find the little screwdrivers that the company thoughtfully includes to help with adjustments, you’ll be perplexed to know that the instructions called that screwdriver a “scissors“! Worse yet, it’ll actually take you even more time to figure out the, horrendously mishandled English of the instructions then it will take to actually perform those instructions! This has to affect how I rate the bracelet. When I saw that I could read it on “easy to read“: well, that was a problem, even though the bracelet itself is 100% easy to read, because the instructions are almost impossible to read! I would’ve rated the bracelet itself for five stars if none of those problems had existed, and I would’ve given it. Five stars were open. “easy to read“ if the instructions hadn’t been difficult to read and understand and follow.

As the color and engraving is beautiful. The construction of the hardware is terrible. First setting the bottom clip to the correct "groove" for sizing is very difficult. Second i have small wrists and the amout of extra from the band after sizing is way to much and since its made of mettle, cannot be cut. Third. The top claps NEVER stays locked. My braclet is always falling of, like every hour.And this may just be my mistake, but the wrong phone number was ingraved. I had to put my phone number on the order form. But requested my husband's number for the emergency contact I put in the custom engraving part.But based on the terrible construction alone. This one is going in the trash.

This medical band is a bit more stylish than some of the glaringly silver and black bands with the bright red cross. I wanted something my husband would wear and it would have the necessary info. We added a phone number on the inside to help facilitate contact if needed.

That band kept buckling so I ordered this one. The type of clasp is good! Strong and tight! All of the wording was written correctly and the band is good...

great looking bracelet but the clasp does not stay closed, so falls off. Added to the original review. After tinkering with the clasp and wearing it for two weeks, it has stayed on. Need to improve clasp instructions, but for the price is a nice Medic Alert bracelet.
