This is definitely more for a teen or a young woman. Its extremely dainty.the chain is very thin and even so it is beautiful, it sparkles and is shiny ,it also has the 925 stamp so the chain is proven real. Although you have to really look for it as it's on the clasp part that opens,the hinge that opens up to attach the opposite side of the chain.its barely noticeable and you may need a magnifier most likely but it's there. The charm is cute and is a small size but theres no 925 stamp so I'm not sure if it's real or if this company just used the tiny stamp on the chain to validate both as real. I'm not a fan of this ,sometimes I feel it can be confusing and other times deceitful as they can say well we didnt stamp for a reason. However I have also been told it's due to the chain having a stamp so why does the charm need one. Well if your me you like to know the item your getting is all real and I will only use ones that are both stamped.so maybe should look into that. But it is a cute item.

The gold heart looks lovely when worn; I have received many compliments on it. The engraving is beautiful, front and back. I have seldom enjoyed a piece of jewelry so much. For this and for personal reasons found in the engravings, I wear it constantly.

Received the beautiful heart necklace today and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s not cheap looking at all and the heart is thick and sturdy. We absolutely love it! It’s boxed very nicely too! I highly recommend, so much better than Pandora.

This went to a friend's daughter who really gasped and reacted with joy after seeing it and closer examination. She's pretty much right. The sheen on the silver is very nice and the stone is clear and refracts light very nicely.It's almost essential that this piece be engraved, else you have big flat heart without further design save the corner birthstone. So the ability to engrave without damaging or flaking is important. From the looks and feel of it, it's solid silver, so it should engrave very well. I can't report on the versions in yellow gold and rose gold, because those are electroplated surfacing - one of the reasons I chose the silver. You may want to take this into consideration also.For what it is, the price is a bit high compared to equivalent necklaces here on this site, but this one impresses as hefty and good quality. I'm happy with it, and I do recommend it.
