The watch itself is gorgeous, and for the first week I had it, it worked great. I was excited to find an actual wind watch with that specific design. However, I do not think it was meant for everyday use. My grandfather was watch maker and clocksmith and I learned early on how to care for a watch. I always kept it wound, but never too tight, etc. After about a week of constant use (in my pants watch pocket) it suddenly stopped and would start back up with a shake. Even when I left it alone it would drop time fast... losing minutes. If you're only looking for this piece for a collection that's not meant to be worn, then it's great. I wanted a watch that I could use daily and this, sadly, is not it. My guess is this would be ideal for a cosplay or steampunk type situation.Disappointed
