I wear several silver bangles permanently on my wrist. I don't mind that after a while they begin to get a bit less shiny--they are constantly rubbing on the other bangles, desktops, whatever it may be. This bangle has managed to hold its reflective shiny surface for quite a while, thus far, and is still going strong! Also a win, the black lettering has remained black. After a while, the black usually falls out or fades on my other bracelets with lettering. It's still bold on this guy. The bracelet has also rigorously maintained its shape, and has not bent an inch.One thing I was not expecting--this bracelet is heavy. it is quite thick; not necessarily referring to the width of the band (the side with the lettering) but to the height of the band (the part that make up the 'edges' or 'sides.' This is cool, because it helps it keep its form, but it is definitely a bit bulkier than I was expecting.The other thing is the rigorous form. Great because it doesn't pull off and bend if you get it caught on something, but also could be tedious as it can't really be made any bigger or smaller, if you need/prefer either of those options.
