These earrings ended up being more beautiful than I thought. I like the color and style and a couple of people have asked to look at them. They are truly hypoallergenic and nickel free. I have big skin allergies and recently got my ears pierced. I wear other earrings but if my ears get irritated these are the earrings I wear to make them feel better. I also sometimes use them as sleeper earrings and have no irritation. No sign of tarnish whatsoever.

Bought these about a year ago and I am basically happy with them so far. They are made of a shiny rose gold color metal and seem to be well made. They are a good size and a comfortable weight. They look as good today as the day I bought them. The only "Con" I have is the hoop. This is the first pair of earrings I have bought with this type of hoop and it may be the last pair. As other reviewers have noted you may have to either bend or unbend the hoop a little to get it to latch, which was easy to do. However, the hoop style makes it difficult to get it in your ear and its bulky look takes away from the beauty of the shell charm and the over all look of the earring. I would not buy these again because of the hoop style and have considered swapping out the hoops they came on with another more traditional style hoop.
