I got this necklace in August and it is now October. I don't change my jewelry a lot, so i have worn this swimming, in the shower, sleeping, to the gym, etc. The back clasp has turn a little silvery where the gold is wearing off, but the chain and cross are still a very pretty, shiny, Gold. The necklace is quite pretty and looks casual enough to wear on a daily basis, while also being fancy enough for dressier/more tailored shirts. The gold looks realistic as does the small stone in the center of the cross. Even though the necklace is comfortably lightweight, it looks like it has more depth/weight to it. It's really pretty in person.
