I think this is a nice piece for the price. It looks elegant yet trendy. I think it’s a timeless piece. I think that the clasp feels strong and durable. The chain also feels strong and it doesn’t twist when you’re wearing it— a problem I’ve had with other chains. I think it’s very pretty and has a nice color. Great Value Had with This 18K Gold Plated Necklace. Perfect For a Child.What I receivedA small, pink in color, stiff cardboard presentation box, that had a white paper cardstock sleeve. The presentation box measured 3” x 2½” x ½” in size and weighed in at 1.14 ounces. The brand name “MTMY” was printed in white, on the front of the package. The presentation box is very very sturdy and professional looking and would present well if this were a gift.What was inside?Inside the package was the 16” + 2” extender Chinese made snake herringbone chain necklace/choker, in 18K gold plate, neatly placed within a similarly sized clear plastic adhesive sealed plastic type packet, with a cardboard back. Everybody went “wow,” on opening and seeing the necklace for the first time. It’s very nice and looks like any solid gold version, without the 4-digit cost.Bonus itemSpoiler alert, this arrived with a bonus item, a pair of stud earrings, for pierced ears, gold in color. The round stud looked smaller than the size of a BB and were about ½” in length.The chain’s weightThe chain weighed in near 15½ grams, which is just over ½ ounce.Fit & FinishFrom far away, this looks perfect, but on closer inspection, it’s not flawless. I believe there are some high and low spots on the necklace, which may have been caused from the plating process. This has a lobster claw closure that works flawlessly. It feels heavier than what the scale suggests. The 2” extension has a small nugget like piece, at the end, which measures ¼” in diameter. The chain itself flat, and is 1½ mm thick and 4½ mm wide.Sturdy & DurableThe necklace appears to have been well made, with some attention to detail.Gold platedDo not be fooled, this is merely gold plated and “not” solid gold.Features and LooksI think the herringbone necklace appears very nice. But small. The picture on the listing is accurate at to size measurement.AgeI think a child under (18) might appreciate this more than an adult. The price is not so high that it would be a catastrophe if lost, while at the same time, knowing they may use this.I did not experience any adverse skin reactions wearing this, and I have sensitive skin. There were “no” surprises with this chain, therefore, no deductions. I understood this was going to be small and delicate when selected.ValueAt just over double $$ digits this offer incrediable value.I hope my thoughts informative.
