Ive been wearing this nonstop for well over a month, so I can attest to its quality and beauty. I have very sensitive skin, im talking the wrong necklace or earring can send my skin into a red, hive, panic. I also have a history with rosacea, and had to make drastic changes to my diet to accommodate my skin sensitivity, so saying that I mean to emphasize that this is a great necklace for sensitive skin. I've worn this during workouts, showers, and outings, and it has withstood them all, and admirably at that. I chose it because it reminded me of the kundalini snake, and a bit of the biblical story, which from a feminist lens isn't so incriminating. I think snakes get a bad rap. Anyway, this necklace is stunning, of great quality and durable. I would highly recommend this to a friend.

This is a chunk of stamped on the round so that it forms a half-round piece of some kind of metal that has then been painted a couple of times and finally been plated with a substance other than gold. The medallion piece itself has been coated so many times that even with a magnifying glass I cannot tell what it is supposed to be. Additionally, it is made with enough nickel in the medallion and the chain that I am unable to wear it for more than a couple of hours as I am severely allergic to nickel. Definitely not worth the price.
