Costume jewelry can often look juvenile or excessively cheap. This isn't the case with this necklace. The chain is dainty but not as thin as the display chains sold with fine jewelry. Overall, it's a decent piece that I hope will get a lot of wear.

The chain is basically a toss away item, and the pendent part is the actual thing you are paying for. They did a REALLY good job on the front of this necklace. The problem is that the back is extremely odd looking, and detracts from the idea. The back could have been at least "interesting" but it's actually not nice at all.I'm sure everyone WANTS their necklace to be "right side up" but in actual fact, they tend to flip over all the time, especially with a longer chain like this one has, and the back side is not very pretty at all. For the price, they could have done MUCH better.Even though I realize it's probably unreasonable of me to ask for it, I had thought that it would have the image on both sides. Silly me, but I didn't expect it to be so poorly made on the back side of it. Even at 1/2 the listed price (the front half is good), it might not be worth it.So, live and learn, make sure you know what the back looks like before you buy. I wish sellers would post the front and back, but they don't, and now I think I understand why.

This necklace is even more beautiful in person. It’s the perfect size for me because I don’t like big jewelry. I prefer simple, elegant and not too loud, so this necklace is my ideal style. I have gotten so many compliments that is has quickly become my new favorite. I’m actually wearing it now! It hasn’t turned or faded and I’ve worn it while working outside. I got pretty sweaty but the necklace showed no signs of it. For the price it’s such a great deal. It looks like a much more expensive piece, but you wouldn’t know it from the price! It would make an awesome gift because it’s more personable. I love that mine has the symbol for cancer, which represents my birth sign. Very highly recommend this special necklace!

This is a super cute gift position if the lady in your life loves to see how lives unfold in the mysteries of the cosmos, and of course, has discernible taste. I couldn’t think of a better gift for the jewelry lover and astrologer if you’re trying to not break the bank but look like fortune is in your second house ;)The gift box and velvet pouch really put it in field of fine department store level in terms of presentation and wow factor. I will say that one caveat is that the chain may be a little long if you or yours prefer a choker style chain. This chain is clergy length. If you grew up Catholic, you know what I mean when I say, “ That don’t bother me nun.” Silliness aside, I really love this and can’t wait to wear it out with an outfits that’s fancy.
