i wore mine for my nose to avoids judgement from my awesome family.visibility: in the right lighting you can definitely see them, nobody at the family function said anything tho so they’re pretty invisible.comfort: they feel exactly like any other stud does but more lightweight. the backing part is kinda big inside my nose. (since they’re so lightweight and the backing is so big i almost inhaled it never to be seen again.)size: the fronts of these are SO TINY. if you have any sort of long nail i would give up. i had to trim my real nails just to put these in. i’m so glad they sell in a pack of like 10 because you will lose the fronts like i did. i had to use pliers to hold them and insert them.

I got these to use as retainers for while I’m at work. I haven’t used the straight bar with the screw on ball or the standard size earrings. I’m using the curved bar for a vertical labret and the straight bar with the flat push in piece for a regular lip piercing. They both feel great, especially the curved bar having a flat top as I use it. The downside is that the o-ring comes off pretty easily. I’ve lost every single one that came in the pack and currently just have the piercing in with nothing securing it. It stays in fairly well though, which is nice. The only real complaint I have on the push in piece for the straight bar is the fact that it’s pretty close in size to the actual bar and I’ve almost pulled it through my lip while playing with it. I’ve never had any issues with it falling out or losing the piece that pushes in. So in my opinion, they’re not the best to use for lips. But for use in the ears or maybe an eyebrow or the nose I think they would work pretty good.

This product was easy enought to use, a little difficult to get together at first but way easier than any internally threaded jewelry. I ordered them because i had to have surgery and didnt want my helix to close. It worked great! The hospital staff hadnt ever seen them before, and didnt know such a thing existed. So make sure they know you are wearing them before going under. Was really happy i didnt have to sacrifice my new piercing just beacuse my stupid gallbladder stopped working.
