And I am really tempted to break a bead open and take a photo just to quiet the people who insist these are plastic?! The three clear red beads are in fact plastic...but the shiny black beads are wood. They are all the same diameter, but not perfectly smooth and you can even on some see the wood grain beneath the shiny outer coat. These are wood of some type...Im not saying it's sandalwood...I have no idea what type and frankly for the price I don't care. These are lovely beads and I am so very pleased with them!

Really beautiful beads. Good size for meditation. Nicely finished smooth surface. Elastic cord not knotted string - will likely not have the longevity of a knotted string set but the beads are really so lovely it would be well worth re-stringing when the elastic gets worn. I gave it five stars because the plus side of its having an elastic cord is that it can be worn comfortably as a bracelet even on small wrists without it sliding off. Comes with a little pouch. It arrived in perfect condition packaged in a small envelope lined with bubble wrap and wrapped in a small square of bubble wrap.

I wore this thing without taking it off once since the day it arrived, and it just now broke, although it can be easily fixed. I'm thoroughly impressed with it's durability, considering that I have showered, snowboarded, wakeboarded, fallin from a tree into a bush, had rigorously intense sex, and many other activities in which I would assume that it could have easily broken before. I got it caught on a pen sticking out of my pants pocket, so it was kind of sad to see it go down in such a lackluster fashion, but all it will take is some searching for stray wooden beads in the depths of my couch cushions, and some retying of the string, and schablamo, fixed. Great bracelet, although shipping time kind blows a stripper, but I'm used to it, since I've ordered quite a few strippers from China before... I mean bracelets.

Product is very good value,and is very nice looking beads! I wear and use every day. The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars is the beads are actually 7 mm,not 8. This isn't an issue for me, and I highly recommend this product!

Having bought several malas from several different companies, this remains to be my favorite. It is comfortable, lightweight, and does not move around uncomfortably like some of the heavier ones do. It is bold enough to be a conversation starter, but subtle enough to blend with most wardrobe choices and levels of expression. I have since bought multiple just in case this one ever breaks (it's still in good shape even after over a year).

First it is a cheap plastic which was okay since the price is so low but after about 3 weeks of wearing it the knot is undone and I can't fix it despite several attempts. I would not buy this item the knot comes undone very quickly and others have had the same issue.

I’m not dissatisfied considering I paid a very low price. They are plastic beads and they are on a stretchy string. All in all they do look decent. And for the money you really can’t argue it. If your looking for something fun and cheap this is the necklace/bracelet for you. Just don’t be let down when they arrive. This is a heads up. Enjoy them. They do come as pictured by the way.

Namaste. Don't be fooled, these are far better than they appear. Over time they become shiny and the grain of the wood, which is exactly as you see here, shines through. I've had mine for a couple of years, and while the elastic has become slacker over time, it's easy to tighten it.
