Iolite is an under-appreciated semi-precious stone, but these earrings do it justice. Significant size, decent workmanship, and excellent color. It's a nice alternative to sapphire because it's deep blue but with a smoky quality at certain angles that makes it more interesting and unusual.

Gave as gift , recipient loved the size and color. These are not a deep blue. They are clear w/ a shade of blue. Excellent choice if looking for a hint of blue. Great value.

The earrings in the middle are the "green" ones, but more of a gray color. The earrings on the right and the ring on the left are white topaz by the same company, for comparison. Most things from this company are good but these are not green enough to be considered quality stones IMO. Their customer service is polite and responsive, but I am going to keep them as gray stones instead of returning them which was an option.
