Seeing this set pop up with the necklace, well I had to make sure I had a matching set!This entire set is identical to the clip-ons I had previously ordered (well..minus the attachment). The basket that the pearl sits in is most assuredly metal, you can tell when they clank together. The pearl itself is white, not pink like the pictures. Under the right lighting, there may be a hint of pink, but they mostly come off as white.The necklace chain, while typically dainty, is of a good quality material and is more than strong enough to hold the pendant.Overall I am happy that I now have a complete set. The earrings alone have become one of my favorite pairs to wear. The set is beautiful, and I was able to wear the necklace with a different chain and received a lot of compliments. With that said, the earrings broke as soon as I put them on. The part that hooks into the part that goes in the ear should probably be tightened better so it doesn't fall part. I would purchase again if it wasn't for that.

I bought these for my trip to cancun for something a little dressier,,the earings are great but I need to get a new chain for the necklace and didnt have tome for that before my trip,,sad face. I spent OVER an hour trying to untangle and deknot the chain and ended up braking the chain,,I could have tried to get the round connecting piece back on the main chain but my eyes even with my cheaters on just cant do it! The pieces are so tiny and delicate,normally a good thing,,but repairing and big fingers did not help. And after alll that time working on it I was done. But it is a beautiful set,,hopefully they dont all come like this!

This set is unique... and quite chic/stylish. I ordered the rose gold with red pearls and the contrast is really nice in person (much better than in the photos). These would make a wonderful gift as they look far more expensive than the Amazon price. The red pearl reminds me of the old Trackball mouse from LogiTech. Bright and shiny and certain to get compliments during an evening out. I laughed at the typo in the description, hopefully they change this as 'Glod' does detract from the otherwise nice quality for the price. The earrings aren't terribly heavy either... quite lightweight for their size in fact. Overall, I'm very pleased.
