I purchased this because it was on sale and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised at how dainty and feminine it looks. When I put it on, I kept it on several days and even showered with it and it looks the same. The quality seems good, and I am very hard on jewelry sometimes. The necklace is very shiny. I had paired it with an expensive silver necklace I got from a jewelry store for my diamond cross I wear. It is definitely shinier than this necklace. I think it would be a very nice gift.

The Amazon listing did not claim these were real pearls - and they are not. The chain is nice, and has a 2" extender, which I always appreciate. At the non-extended length, this necklace would be great to wear at the neckline under a collared blouse, or with a V-neck or other top. The "pearls" are drilled with the perfect size hole to slide over the chain well so they'll stay at the bottom of the necklace without the holes being too visible.It is simple and attractive, and would nicely dress up one's look. I like it.

It's very cute and little. The pearl quality is great and so is the price. It's a freshwater pearl. It can be worn for casual or dressy. I like the jump ring on the chain so I can change the length.
