These are great earrings that will go just as well with formal attire or jeans, but they appear to be best suited to simple everyday wear. They have decent sheen, some depth and are stated as Solid 14k Gold. Are they? I've grown pretty cynical when it comes to the use of "solid gold" with jewelry, but for this price I'm fine with them even if they're plated. But if you're allergic to certain metals and need solid gold, I would contact the manufacturer for confirmation.If you want a well made set of pearl earrings for all around use, this is a good bet.

I liked that these earrings do have a sheen to them like the more expensive cultured pearls. I received the 8-8.5mm size and they fit my earlobe nicely. I do not like that they are a very odd shape, but I knew what I was getting. The pictures on the website itself showed that they were this weird shape. Mine just seem to be a little flatter and they are not quite the same size. One pearl seems to be slightly smaller than the other.The box it came in looks like a costume jewelry box. There is nothing on the gold posts that state they are 14k gold, nor is there any information about the pearls themselves being genuine--freshwater or otherwise.I think the price point for these earrings is a low for genuine 14k gold posts and real "cultured" pearl earrings as it states in the description: "These timeless solid 14k gold studs are expertly crafted with real 'CULTURED' button pearls to catch the light, draw the eye, and create an elegant, polished look".I definitely would NOT give them as a gift to anyone! The positive is that for myself, I do like wearing them for running errands, etc. They have not turned my ears green nor have I had any negative reaction to wearing them. I have sensitive ears and can only wear 14k or hypoallergenic surgical steel posts.Wishing everyone Happy Holidays!!

Large enough to be seen, but small enough to not be 'over the top', they can be worn with jeans or sweats or a party dress or an evening gown, and be the perfect compliment to all of them.Whether for yourself or as a gift, these button pearl studs will be wonderful, and the price is really reasonable, given today's market for jewelry! Highly recommend!

I have lost one of these earrings or the back three times within a month- luckily I was able to find the earring each time, or noticed there was no back. I ended up just using some tiny little rubber backs I happened to have which work. So I'm not sure if the posts on these are just very skinny, or the backs holes are too large, but just be warned, you'll probably want to replace the backs of you want to actually keep your earrings, lol. Other than that, I've gotten a couple compliments on these, one from a man who literally stopped me in the grocery store to tell me he loved my earrings- "Very understated!" he said, in the very best way, lol. I loved it, that's exactly the vibe I wanted from these.

These pearl studs are truly lovely in person, with a beautiful sheen and symmetry. The backs slide on tightly, making them feel extremely secure in your ears. I'm not a huge fan of yellow gold jewlery, but the pearl is large enough on the post that you cannot tell the color of the metal to which it is attached, which I really like. The box the earrings come in is also extremely pretty, with a textured surface, soft pink color, pressed gold lettering, and an adorable drawer you pull out to revel the earrings secured to their velvet platform. It is all very reminiscent of a ballerina aesthetic and would make them a fantastic gift! Finally, I did pick the smallest option in my order, but Mazzeri offers 3 different sizes of pearls. I do not find the ones I selected to be diminutive in any way and think they are the perfect size to suit my preference toward subtle decoration, but just know that there are bigger pearls for those so inclined!
