This necklace is junk. It looks like it is made out of wax. What a disappointment. I was looking forward to this. Return for refund. I dhould have looked at the origin. Only junk comes out of India nowadays it seems like.

5 CT moonstone sounds very big but when I recevied it, it is pretty small (I'm being greedy I think). The moonstone sits inside a gold plated silver The necklace is situated in a 10x10 mm base whivhnis also made out of silver and coated with gold. A nice box and pouch is included along with a Certificate of Autenticity.I gave this to my mom for her birthday, and she Loooooooved it. She made sure I will be giving a 5 star rating.

I recently received another Max & Stone necklace to review. This one is almost identical, with the exception of the shape [a square] and the color [this is a deeper shade of blue, almost black - known as Created Blue Sapphire Corundum]. There are tiny stones that surround the pendant and it is not fixed. The chain is a nice length and I noticed absolutely no redness or irritation (18k gold over sterling silver) from wearing it. This necklace would definitely make a great gift.

This necklace is very elegant looking. For this price you're getting a sterling silver vermeil necklace with a cushion cut moonstone surrounded by white topaz stones. Even more surprising is that it's a cushion cut moonstone. Not everyone works with cushion cuts and I love them. The moonstone looks so beautiful surrounded by the sparkling white stones. The necklace is adjustable from 18"-20". That's a plus for me as, sometimes, you need a longer chain depending on the neckline of your top. It's also packaged nicely and comes complete with a small polishing cloth.This would make a great gift or buy it for yourself. You won't regret it.
