every time i wear blue lapis, someone comments on it. it's such a beautiful stone and this necklace does a nice job of showcasing it. it's a smaller piece, rather dainty, with a halo effect around it. it is eye catching. it's great with a white button up and black skirt to add a little flair and make the necklace the focal point of the outfit. it is smaller which leans towards casual except the halo really jazzes it up pushing it closer to classy/formal. although i find the halo to be a little limiting, i think you can pull it off with a lot of different more business or after hour styles. it's high quality, with great shine. it is an overlay chain, 18k gold over sterling, so limited wear will help to ensure that you don't wear out the overlay.

This necklace looks nice, and the pictures give a pretty accurate representation of what it looks like in person. It is not as "sparkly" or light-refracting as some other gemstone necklaces, but we still like the overall appearance. The chain also seems decently high quality, it has held up well so far. No green skin or other issues. It might be slightly overpriced, but that is probably more a matter of personal preference.

The iridescence of the moonstone pendant is very pretty, especially with gold. The pendant is a good size. The chain itself is on the thin side and delicate, and one small part of my chain is discolored (orangy gold). Overall, the necklace is elegant and trendy. It’s a good accessory to dress up a simple outfit.

What a lovely necklace by Max & Stone. 
The round (blue lapis Lazuli) pendant is fixed on a gold (adjustable) chain. The pendant itself is a round blue stone with tiny flecks of gold in it and is outlined by tiny stones.The chain is 18k gold plated over 925 sterling silver. I noticed no redness or irritation. 
The packaging is great especially if you are giving it to someone as a gift. It also comes with the accompanying paperwork regarding authenticity. I recommend it.
