I don't think it's necessary for the seller to advertise that this is "for girls."Earrings and earring storage needn't be gendered this way.The box works well for my purposes.I needed a small bit of storage for my basic studs so I wouldn't have to dig through the box of larger earrings. I specifically chose this box, because I wanted storage just for earrings--not any other kind of jewelry. The zip closure is nice for keeping things secure, particularly if I wanted to take the box on a trip.

Bought for a trip used it once, and all my necklaces got tangled even though they were hung up on the clips and in the pouch. The little sections don’t stay so everything is just all jumbled together and it’s very heavy and I’m disappointed because now it’s past my return window and it’s a piece of crap I won’t use on a trip again.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase and have used the box a few times. It’s size makes it easy to pack in a suitcase. The only problem is that the jewelry gets tossed around in transit. My solution was to add a sock to the box before zipping it closed, like packing material. That keeps everything in place.

Not really large enough for bracelets. Necklaces do no hang correctly and do not stay in place. No good way to store earrings. I will use at home but too clunky to travel with.

I bought this as a gift Its beautiful to look at and very well crafted. The downside is the weight of it, in my opinion. I like to have all my traveling “stuff” on the light weight side to facilitate handling. Otherwise this would’ve been rated a 5.
