This is a nice little pick-me-up that celebrates the occasion but doesn't break the bank. It's surprisingly hefty and has a very durable feel. If cared for properly, this should last a very long time. If it isn't exposed to chlorine, soap and water or other chemicals constantly, and if it is stored in dry conditions with a tarnish preventing strip, there should be few problems with maintaining the finish. Polishing with a soft cloth before and after wear should just about get the job done.
