The ring is beautiful. It is stamped 925 which must mean it is silver. I wasn't expecting this quality for a low price. It's not easy to adjust though.

It's a pretty ring ,but it isn't 9.25 sterling silver. It also leaves your finger black! Thought I was getting a great deal! But you get what you pay for!!

The spoon rings being sold here are copied from a 925 Solid Sterling Silver spoon belonging to a serving set called the "Frontenac" pattern from the International Silver Co, 1903. The pictures above show a genuine, "925 solid Sterling Silver Star Gazer Tiger Lily" Spoon Ring. The "Star Gazer Lily" is one of many species of Lily used for the design of the spoon's "stem" in the set. I bought 2 copies, thinking they were real, or at least good copies; I now know the difference. The copies are mostly sterling silver plated and therefore, not solid Sterling Silver, even if they are stamped "925", which they shouldn't be unless it reads: "925 Sterling Silver Plated". As copies, they were okay for the price, but with so many vendors selling them, the quality of the copies will vary. It is doubtful that most people could find a real one, and if so, it would cost much more than the ones sold here or elsewhere. Be aware of what the vendor says about the base metals that are being used in the copy. That information, the amount of plating done, and people's chemistry in their skin will determine if the copies will irritate or turn color or not on the finger. In fact, some people will even have a reaction to the real thing! But in any event, the rings are pretty, so good luck with your purchase!
