***I’m updating my review to 3 stars. The company contacted me and refunded me for the broken item. Their customer service is great. I still would only recommend this for short-term use. It’s cute, but its not for formal events or anything.I am so disappointed in this pin. I bought an “N” and a “D” because my daughter was Nancy Drew for character day at school. The “N” went on her sweater just fine. The “D” broke apart as soon as I opened it. I had to quickly glue it together so I could pin it on her before she left for school so now I’m afraid I can’t return it. I don’t need a new one now so it’s not even worth the return anyway. I wouldn’t recommend these pins if you plan on using them for a while. Thankfully ours was for a 10 minute project.
