I purchased to wear as a necklace (remove earwire and add O ring to slide through a necklace) and handbag jewelry ( removed earwire and added hinged keyring). They were much thicker gold than expected. Look expensive.

The jewels are sparkly and stand out. However, the backing of the earring rod is bent upwards. Therefore when you place it in your ear the tip sticks out over the earring from the backside. With this position the earrings is not secured well and is not visually appealing. If you don’t mind a non traditional backing of an earring then they would still work.

As you can see by the photo. One stud was apparently broken when the earrings were made. I was very disappointed they shipped their product without even checking the quality. These would have been a very cute set of earrings!!
