The finish on this pendant is quite nice. It looks like quality workmanship all around. However, I wish the cross was better defined with a deeper/wider engraving. I don't think it shows up very well. In any case, it's a good value for the quality of the stainless pendant and chain.

He loves the idea of chivalry, loves stories of knights, so I thought this shield necklace was ideal.I didn’t know until it arrived that this has the verse from Joshua written on the back of the shield charm. I read it to him, and he smiled. The necklace went right on him, and he’s wearing it now.This necklace and charm are made of stainless steel. The shield charm is a bright, shiny silver. The engraved cross is easy to see, and the words on the back are easy to read.I ordered the 24” necklace. I knew my son wanted to wear this below his shirt, and the necklace drops fairly low on his chest. The chain is fairly heavy, with open links.I love the symbolism of the armor of God, and my son seems to like it, too. He was very pleased with the necklace.

This shield and cross necklace is really nice. Being made from solid stainless steel it gives the necklace a nice hefty feel and laser etching from Joshua 1:9 is clear and easy to read. I have a cross and shield tattoo on my leg that looks a lot like the necklace, so when I saw it on Amazon I just felt it was meant for me. It would also make a wonderful gift you would be proud to give for anyone wishing to express their faith without being too flashy. I love the verse and will probably buy one for my adult children as a gift.

I'm not very big on jewelry or necklaces, but I really liked the solid stainless steel look of this. This product is PRECISELY as pictured, and has a nice heft. The etching on front and back are very clear and sharply done. I wear this every day lately. If this were not steel, or perhaps a lot lighter, I would not like it nearly as much.I may have gotten a slightly longer chain than I needed, so be sure you measure your neck properly.Great pendant, and nice chain.
