Horween Leather Watch Bands Quick Release for Men

Very nice band. Nice soft leather, looks great on my watch, definitely dresses up my dive watch. Very comfortable and smells fantastic. I'll be purchasing more of these.

I love this band. It's very comfortable and stylish, in an understated, timeless sort of way. It even dresses up my cheap smartwatch enough that I like the look of it.This is Horween Chromexcel leather, the most desirable leather from the best tannery in the US. It's supple and soft out of the box, and very durable. It will get scuffed easily but that will develop a lovely patina over time, and some Bick 4 conditioner should help keep it looking great for many years. It tapers a bit from the watch body toward the center, which I think helps with comfort. Comes with a spare keeper and a tool that I'm not sure what the purpose of is, but for the price, you can't go wrong with CXL if you want that modern retro look, all-day comfort, and long life.

Just as the title states, this is a cheap, low quality black leather watchband. I doubt it truly is genuine.... But, with that said, I don't care. I have a similar leather watch band that is way nicer but cost me $200. I wanted a nice looking black leather watch band that is comfortable and that I will not care about in the least when it gets scratches, tears, wrinkles, falls in water, gets sweaty. I wanted a $20 or so nice looking black watch band. And this one goes above and beyond. So far I've been wearing it regularly for a couple months and it still looks nice. There are definitely some scratches because of how cheap it is, but I don't care. I expect it to last through the summer, after that is bonus! Also, because it is a soft cheap leather the break in period is non existent, was comfortable wearing it as soon as I put it on.The quick change features work fine. The length is more than adequate, I have it on a 38mm watch and i'd estimate my wrists are average and there's still plenty of length left, longer than many of my more expensive bands.

Soft but sturdy. No 'wrist in a vice' sensation. Obviously well-made. This isn't made out of that bonded 'leather & glue sandwich' crap, it's a solid strap of good tough Horween leather. Stitching is tight, plenty of thread used. The thread is more of an ivory than white in color, which really helps with the 'vintage' vibe. It's a pin buckle, but I didn't take off anything for that because it looks like a good one. This black one looks great on the Murph 38 that I got it for, but just out of curiosity I put it on my 'Tom Rice' A-11... aaand now I've got another black one coming for my A-11. Really makes the dial & hands 'pop'. Got a brown one coming, too, because these are obviously very good. Definitely worth the money. I can certainly recommend for a 'field' style watch, particularly the two I mentioned.EDIT:Forgot to mention that the spring bar tool they include looks to be well-made. Obviously you won't need it to install this strap, but you might need it to remove your existing bars if they're not QR bars. Mine also came with a spare keeper & a spare QR spring bar, which was a nice touch.

Full grain leather will last 3x as long as padded or layered leather. I spent around an hour looking for full grain leather watch strap and this is the only one I've found on Amazon. The quality is amazing and is the same price as other lesser leather straps. It looks amazing, will last a decade. A special touch0, they included an extra strap loop and spring bar. The first thing to fail in any watch strap is the loose loop that you thread the end of the strap through. This extra strap will extend the life of this strap by another 5 years or so. All of this for 25 dollars. Wow!

I have heard of Horween leather before but have had no prior experience with it. This leather is very soft and I love the way it picks up marks. It has a very rustic look to it especially in the natural color. I paired it up with my Seiko mojito with its lovely emerald dial and it is a gorgeous pairing. Installation and removal are very easy due to the design. I like it so much, I’m considering buying another one to pair up with my GS white birch.

I bought this band specifically because I was attracted by what the description said: "it is a very specific leather, from a particular part of a horsehide. It's beefy, thick, and supple, better for daily wear and sports watches. Heavy duty leather watch band, a bit stiff at first but softens up nicely after a short time..."Let me take this point by point:- "It's beefy, thick,.." Another band I've been buying for years wears through about every 18 months so I was hopeful this one would last longer. Time will tell whether it does or not, but the second I opened up the package I could tell right away there is nothing beefy or thick about it. It is certainly no thicker than my previous band and actually slightly thinner. However it's always the ends that wrap around the pin or the buckle that wear out, so those are the parts that ought to be reinforced. I will have to wait and see if these last any longer.- "Heavy duty leather watch band, a bit stiff at first but softens up nicely ..". Again, nothing about this band strikes me as 'heavy duty' and it is not at all stiff. Right out of the package I was surprised at how soft and supple it already is.- The look: From the first image when you hover over it, I had the impression this was a nice 'grainy' and rough or textured looking leather. In fact it actually looks quite smooth and polished, almost like faux leather. This is more a type of look and finish I image someone who works a 9-5 office job and has very manicured hands wearing. It was described as being more of a 'sports' or 'active' wear type that gave me the impression of being more 'rugged' and outdoorsy looking, which is what I was hoping.

This strap has no rough spots and is nice and supple. It seems like it is of quality construction. The smell is a little off-putting and the color isn’t quite as warm as the brown tone in the product photo. But given how much better it is in comparison to any of the other leather watch straps I’ve tried, this one can keep the 5 stars.
