This leather watch band is rustic but refined. The leather is smooth and supple with soft texture. It has a plain finish, not shiny nor rough. The stitching is consistent and even and appears very secure. The rings are brushed and without blemish or burrs. Adds a bit of bulk, but that was expected and desired. The 20mm fit perfectly, but you you may have a tight fit between the case and the pins if you use the thicker or oversized watch pins. 7 Inch wrist.

about item
- CRAZY HORSE LEATHER – Oil-tanned pull-up leather is infused with waxes and oils to give each watch band a unique shading variation. The leather will soften over time and develop a rich patina with wear. As with all leather goods, color may vary from strap to strap. The leather is 1.4-1.6mm thick to fit between spring bars. Due to the thickness, some stretching may naturally occur with wear.
- Zulu-Style Slip-Through Design – Easily change pass through watchbands without tools by passing it between spring bars at the top and bottom of your watch. Swap bands to suit an occasion or to give your watch a new look.
- Stainless-Steel Hardware – Each leather watch strap is fitted with a rugged, brushed stainless-steel buckle and keeper loops that visually balance your watch while securing it to your wrist.
- Colors & Lengths – Our Zulu watchband comes in 7 rich colors—Black, Dark Gray, Dark Brown, Gray, Navy Blue, Oxblood & Sand—and are available in 18mm, 20mm, 22mm & 24mm widths. Our leather straps will stretch and flex to conform to your wrist.
- Customer Satisfaction – At Benchmark Basics we take great pride in our products and customer service. Please refer to the measurement’s graphic for more detailed dimensions. Our customers are our top priority so if you have any questions about our watch bands, please contact us 24/7—we’re happy to assist you.

I just received this leather watch band for my 1930's Cuervo y Sobrinos timepiece, and I couldn't be more pleased. The craftsmanship and quality of the leather are exceptional, seamlessly complementing the vintage aesthetic of the watch. The band's perfect fit and comfort make it an ideal choice for those looking to enhance both style and nostalgia. A must-have accessory for any discerning watch enthusiast.

It’s okay, but that’s all. It looks good, true to width, and the metal hardware is quality. The leather is very thin and has some elasticity to it. As good as I can expect for a bargain price. You just won’t get good leather at this rate, but it’s not terrible!

It's advertised as being suitable for wrists as small as 6in but even on the very tightest notch this band slides around quite a bit on my 6.5inch / 16.5cm wrist. It feels great and looks quite sharp but I ended up having to buy a leather-perforating tool to create my own notch that would fit better and had to cut the excess strap off. Definitely overall happy with my purchase but wish they sold a shorter version with smaller notches.

After eight years of owning a Seiko SNK805, I finally niced it up with this strap. On the one hand I always liked that little (37mm case) automatic Seiko. On the other hand I never really liked the green military-style strap it came with. Plus the watch always felt a bit too small for my wrist. Well, it only took eight years, but I finally realized changing the strap might be the way to go. I ordered the 18mm "sand" colored one because it provides such a nice contrast with my Seiko's olive green dial. There are some complaints about the strap being too thin, but I disagree. A thick leather strap for a NATO/Zulu style strap would provide too much bulk (plus it has to fit through the spring bars!). This one gives my Seiko just that little bit of extra heft it needed. A thicker strap probably would be overkill for this Seiko, but your mileage may vary with a different watch. There are different ways of wearing a NATO/Zulu strap. For this watch, I prefer the one whereby the extra flap goes on the opposite side of the wrist from the watch. That way, all the buckles and the bulk of the strap nicely balance out the watch, both in weight and appearance, giving it a nice symmetrical look and feel.In short: it's great. I find myself looking at an eight-year old watch like it's a new one.Update: Got a second one (dark brown, smaller stainless steel buckles) for another watch for Christmas. Same quality, and I love that one too.

I've only just received this item, so I cannot comment on longevity, but I love how this strap looks on my Bulova Lunar Pilot. The red coloring is a perfect compliment to add some flair. The strap feels a bit thin compared to other leather straps I have owned, but this is my first NATO strap and it may just be how they are since they are layered. My only concern with the thin material would be that it may not last very long. If I have any issues, I will update here.

I wanted to spice up my Rolexes: GMT Master II: Batman, GMT Master II: Coke, and Rolex Submariner; I saw a bespoke site, and other Rolex owners replaced their bracelets with leather NATO straps; hence, I did a search, and Benchmark popped up.I decided to take a chance, after all, it’s only $16.Once I took possession an custody of the two Benchmarks I ordered, I was very happy with the:- Excellent quality- Comfort- Excess tab-length to fold back onto itself- Great natural leather fragrance- DurabilityFor my three Rolexes, the space between the lug springs and lugs is narrow; hence, the Benchmark leather straps are a bit thick to slide through; so, I had to remove the lug springs to my Rolex GMT Master II: Coke, Rolex GMT Master II: Batman, and my Rolex Submariner, and I placed the Benchmark leather straps in place to the lugs; then, I installed the lug springs — a minor inconvenience, but super easy to install.I’d rather have thick substantial leather rather than thin cheap-feeling flimsy leather. The Benchmark leather straps are substantial and strong — I’m very pleased with my purchases. After my first two purchases, shown in my pictures, I bought 10 more Benchmark leather straps for my other wrist timepieces: Hamilton Khaki Automatic, Chopard Limited Edition Mille Miglia, Seiko Pogue, and Seiko Diver./s/ Alfonso Faustino

Good solid band. It is genuine leather as described. Not the fanciest and the rings don’t hold the strap end perfectly. But I’m really picky and I am satisfied. Price was right too.
