I had high hopes for this pendant chain. My daughter made a beautiful remembrance pendant for me last Christmas. It contained the ashes of my three most recent fur babies who had all passed relatively close together due to the ravages of cancer, kidney failure and old age. Unfortunately, the extension chain on the necklace that she supplied was very delicate and broke three times in the space of a few days. In looking for a sturdier replacement I came across this and it looked like it would fit the bill. In most ways it does, however I have a problem concerning the catch. I find it difficult to close and if you don't do it just right it will open when you least expect it, and you'll lose whatever you have hanging from it if you don't notice.

Heavy duty leather cord with stainless latch that won’t tarnish. I like the fact that these are inexpensive and come in all sorts of lengths. I’m sure I’ll buy more.
