I received this necklace directly from the manufacturer at no cost for evaluation, and here are my thoughts.I love the deep purple amethyst like color of this necklace, and it looks especially rich against the silver setting. The large oval shaped faceted cubic zirconia stone flashes brilliantly from every angle, and the setting's open sides allow more light to reach the stone which enhances the sparkle. I love how the stone looks like deep dark purple in low light settings and lighter in brighter light just like a fine amethyst does.The necklace features a generously sized cubic zirconia stone prong set into a 925 Sterling Silver setting that's been Rhodium plated so it's hypoallergenic and it won't ever tarnish like plain silver would. The back and sides of the setting are open to allow more light to reach the rich purple cubic zirconia, and the setting is marked S925 along one side.The top silver loop forms the bale, and the necklace comes with a fairly substantial width 18" long Rhodium plated 925 Sterling Silver ripple chain with a spring ring closure and no extender. The chain is marked "Italy S925" on the small leaf near the closure, and I found the spring ring closure secure and easy to operate. The length of the chain is fine on me, but the bale opening is large enough to accommodate a longer and thicker chain in case you prefer to use a different one.I love pretty necklaces, and this one is particularly eye catching. My photos don't do it justice, but the deep purple stone is quite beautiful in the light and has just enough sparkle to command attention. The very first day I wore this necklace, a complete stranger stopped me because it caught her eye and she wanted to know where I'd gotten it. This necklace is well made and quite lovely. As a gift, it is perfect, and an exceptional value that looks like it cost a lot more it does. I couldn't be happier with this necklace!

Got this for my niece. Looks very nice on. Stone is a bit darker than the picture shows. Chain is very nice. Plan to give it to her for her 15th birthday next week. Let you know how she reacts.
