I used these as my top two earrings and both tragus piercings. Worked great, like the flat back so I don't feel them at night. It was a pain in the butt trying to get it in both tragus's, especially my right one since I'm right handed, easier to use right hand on left side, but I got them in and they're good for a while. These type of earrings are always difficult to put in the tragus. I attached pictures for left and right ear so you can see.
