These necklaces layer perfectly. The gold tone is pretty good and it's smooth all over. Looks much more expensive than it is. The chains really good it won't tangle. Wish I could get one for everyone! Would make a great gift!

For $6.99, I don't think that you can expect gold plating that will last a long time but, nevertheless, it is there. The necklace itself looks good but there are a couple of things to consider. One, the pendant itself is no larger than my wife's thumbnail. Two, my wife did not like the look when wearing it with double chains as pictured on the link. She likes her chains longer, plain and simple. The larger chain was too short and the smaller choker was even shorter for her taste. Thus, it was difficult to make them hang well when worn like that. So, I took all of the smaller adjusting links out of both chains, and doubled the shorter choker before attaching it to the longer chain that holds the pendant. Doing it like that basically will require her pull it over her head intact because, otherwise, she would have to insert two open ends into one clasp while trying to make sure that the doubled chain does not slide back through the clasp on the larger chain. But, it worked, and the result was a visible clasp on each side instead of the middle of the back of the neck. But, removing all of the smaller adjusting links put those clasps far enough toward the back of the neck so as not to be "too" visible. Once I did all that, she was happier with it than any other way of configuring it. I attached a pic to show what I did. I also offered to take a little over half of the links out of the smaller choker and add them to the larger chain so she would only have one clasp. However, in consideration of the small size of what are the "larger" links, she decided to try it forward as shown so she would have more link support on the back of the neck.

These layering necklaces look great and are easy to wear. I like that the chains can be sized and styled in different ways. The clasps work well, and the metal is substantial. Really cute monogram charm, too. I'm very pleased with this set.

The gold tone is on point, not overly yellow or dark & cheap looking.3. The weight & thickness of the necklaces makes them feel nice and not flimsy or easily breakable.4. The letter pendant is reversible, giving you two options.Cons:1. They are on the shorter side. I am wearing both necklaces on the last loop available.

The necklace arrived in a sturdy cardboard jewelry box, packaged individually in two baggies. The color is lighter gold, close to what one could expect from 10k gold jewelry. There are no stamps in the metal indicating anything about actual gold plating. There is nothing on the necklace or box that indicates the type of metals used to make the product. Inside the box, there is a pink cut-out paper heart, perhaps it is anti-oxidation paper? I don't know since there's no information on it. There is another card that is a care and maintenance instructions. The necklaces themselves are lightweight. The choker is 14'' and gives about 2'' of slack to adjust. The necklace with the initial being 4'' longer presents a nice layered look to the style. On the reverse of the pendant, there is a smaller version of the initial as well. I like that I can use them independently to create new looks of my choosing since they are not welded like other sets. Overall, I'd say this piece is fun and a charming addition to my fashion faux jewelry.I wouldn't use lotion, or perfume or wear this piece with wet hair or skin, I think that will help keep it looking nice longer. If I saw this in the store I would have purchased it to complete a look for date night or a girls' night out.I gave this a four-star rating because I believe when jewelry is gold-plated it is usually indicated on the item itself but for the price and quality it is a good buy.
