I love delicate and dainty gold jewelry. So classy. There's something that makes it feel and look more expensive than it really is when it comes to costume jewelry.I also love a satellite necklace as there's something that makes the little baubles almost look like they are floating on an invisible chain.This lock necklace is probably designer inspired. I'm not sure but I think maybe Tiffany made this charm popular maybe?Time will tell how well this holds up to the elements. But for the price I think it's a great deal. You can tell it's not a high end piece even for costume but I like to wear stuff like this for everyday as I don't worry so much about it getting damaged or tarnishing. I do tend to wear a lot of lotion, etc. and take off every evening before I go to bed.Tip: add a magnetic clasp to the back and it makes wearing a necklace every day so much faster when you're getting ready in the morning. I like to hang it on a hook at the end of the day and the magnet keeps it in place on the hook without it getting tangled so it's ready to go the next morning!A magnetic clasp might not be as useful if you've got a baby or toddler at home that likes to pull on it regularly when you carry them, but at least you know the clasp won't break if they do pull hard enough! (this has happened to me).

Honestly the product photos are very true to actual item. Rich 18k gold color (darker than the pale 14k gold a lot of people are used to seeing) and good quality throughout. The clasp latches properly, there is a cute gemmed star at the end of the extender, and the chain links are well made. This necklace is also suitable for gifting as it comes very nicely packaged with a ribbon, good looking green felt pouch, necklace pad, and plastic baggies. It even arrives with a thank you and care card with cleaning cloth.All the little details for this price make it a worthwhile purchase for some fashion jewelry that does not look cheap. It is dainty and attractive.I did see that people mentioned tangling - they are coming out with separate necklace versions, which will tangle less, so if that is a concern, do not buy this single clasp with multiple strands attached, wait for the separate versions to be in stock and get those instead. The attached necklaces tend to tangle because they are connected at the back and the chains keep overlapping each other. Hope this review helps!

My wife was asking for some layering necklaces and I ordered one of these on a lark along with some more expensive necklaces for her birthday. I was going to give her this cheap one and pretend that was it then give her the more expensive ones.Due to some shipping delays I ended up only being able to give her the more expensive ones on her birthday, but this one finally came in. She decided she really liked this, even after knowing it was just the cheap joke gift.It arrived well packaged including a cleaning cloth (I suppose for the pendant). The necklace is delicate without being fragile.For $14, this isn't a terrible piece of jewelry.

The necklace was a great length and easy to untangle since it’s 2 chains. However, after almost 2 months a few areas of the necklace have tarnished despite not wearing it when showering, putting on lotions & perfumes/body sprays.
